Dalaran Defender items

Same, yesterday evening between between 11 and 12 I was cleaning up my bags and I go check my warbank, and all the slots where I had stored the dalaran defender items to be dispatched to my alts had vanished while elemental incursion ones remained.
I checked from several other characters and it was the same. About 110 items gone, including a number of weapons… now I’m stuck with a few lv 70 alts stuck at a low 300 ilvl…
I had another 25 items on the alt I used to consolidate the currency (I purposefuly left 1 on most alts to allow further transfers), but those are now all soulbound…
Well at least it was not a total waste given how I spent the week-end unlocking all the relevant tiers set mogs via the Catalyst. Still a bummer to have a few remaining crippled toons and so much playtime wasted.
I really hope they manage to fix it. If WW is still that buggy, I’ll probably stick a bit more in the Emerald Dream and Time Rifts or doing fishing/climbing/photography expeditions…

I will not place items in Warbank more than 5 minutes anymore. It is too dangerous.

Thank you all for reporting this situation!

I would like to confirm that this is being looked into already, and while we don’t have specific details to share about ETA or resolution steps, we can confirm that any pre-patch event item missing is not actually gone - in like destroyed/deleted/burned/eaten by murlocs - but just invisible in the Warbank.

Still a bummer, but crossing finger this little difference may help in resolving the problem swiftly. We’ll try our best to keep you updated in any case.

Yeah all the defender gear I had in my warband bank is gone, and I had a lot of it. I’m pretty mad.

How come we can place items where they used to be then? What happens if the warbank is full?

Also the timing of this is horrible. I was planning to use this gear to level up. Now the expansion is ruined for me.

Same. Guild bank lost all items 3 weeks ago, and now my Warbank is empty. I spent the past 2 weeks spamming the event to collect all the gear. I bought stuff for over half a million of the currency that is now just gone.

The will to log in to the game is completely gone.

I think Blizzard seriously underestimate the impact this sort of thing has on player motivation. My reputation that vanished still remains lost. No video game should be comfortable getting a street rep for items and reputations going AWOL. This is what is happening to WoW.

Similar issue with my warband bank, None if the items i purchased for alts are visible and all the trinkets/rings etc that i bought on an alt are now soulbound as i left those in her bags. The bags that i bought are fine and still warbound.

my warbank deposited dalaran defender items are gone too from yesterday…i had like 20 pieces for my alts…

Same issue. All in Warbank got deleted.

I see the vendor has been fixed to show “Binds to Warband until equipped”.

Items already bought - if you were online at the time of expansion launch all turned soulbound and are still soulbound despite the vendor item being fixed. If you logged in after the fix to the vendor and were not online during expansion launch, your items in inventory show correctly as binds to warband according to others posts.

I think that one possible solution would be, instead of restoration of every lost item in warbank (some people may already use the freed slots), remove them forever and compensate their price in the Residual Memories currency. Then players will be able to buy warband items in Dalaran again.

This! So much this! You couldn’t have said it better!

as others state it is still possible to add items in those slots, so are we not to use those slots until further notice - or are items that was in the slots going to be send to our mail as bind on warband?

It’s fixed!

Thank you Blizz!

And here I am, looking forward to be the bearer of good news just to discover that my thunder was stolen! :rage:

Jokes aside, the issue is indeed fixed and we are seeing a lot of positive feedback from affected players regarding the restoration of their items in their intended state

Thank you all for being so patient in this situation! :blue_heart:

Thanks. I do see Dalaran Defender items again. What should happen to previously stored items in the warband bank, if it was full at the time of restoration?

Edit: It seems that they get added when relogging, if there’s space.

I got most of my items back and was able to restore 4 of them that were vendored in the confusion. But I’ve 4 items on my alt that are soulbound. Is there anyway of getting them back to been War Bound so they can be moved to my bank?
