Although the customization is not looking so good, the transmog set is beautiful. I can’t imagine how wonderful a male human rogue will be with it.

I agree but like Tesla said, tis a ranger set so it kinda makes sense. But you could make a human hunter I suppose.

On classic frp, rangers are wielding long sword on main hand and a short sword/maybe a big dagger on the off-hand. They are a leather wearer mixture of rogue and warrior (?).

Perhaps in other games. In WoW dark rangers have always been hunters.
Dark Rangers were mostly farstriders, which are described as “Their pursuit of mastery in longbows], marksmanship, and scouting”.

I think this class set thingy is actually quite nice and while I agree it kinda sucks only hoonters can wear it… I think a better solution is to give rouges a better set that’s theirs to wear.

top 2 bugs i see with this new cosmetic change are
yes the topless look should be impossible to happen but here we are
and in my picture it displays my spear tmog glowing ALOT
as if its the blue ashbringer balance of power skin and that one doesnt glow much
for the first bug there is a female nelf hunter posting about it on US forums same reason as mine
I don’t feel like this is entirely accurate. The Farstriders are a military organisation, I doubt they can be identified with a single class. Most of them are marksmen, but they’re going to have people in different roles in order for the organisation to function, like scouts and physicians. They’re going to need people specialised in ranged combat in some situations, and close combat in others.
I think a case can easily be made for a Farstrider rogue or warrior, especially since the rigid division of classes is mostly dictated by the current design of the game. In Vanilla a hunter, a rogue and a warrior could mostly use the same weapons.
And keep in mind, Dark Rangers aren’t Farstriders anymore, it’s very plausible for some of them to have specialised in other disciplines over past the years, outside the scope of archery and marksmanship.
Sure but Dark Rangers are mostly made up out of Farstider Archers.

“Mostly” being the keyword here: I think in general a little wiggle room for players to roleplay outside of the box is good. Then it’s up to the players themselves to be a bit sensible.
I mean, yes, a paladin with a dark ranger transmog set is going to look a bit silly, but a lot less silly than a dark ranger paladin, which the game allows.
Calling this simple two button smashing class ‘Huntard’ is very rude.
