Dark Ranger's Quiver disappointing

So got the HC Back a couple of days ago and got really disappointed on the damage it does in a M+. (making just a tad more damage than my shadowcore oil)

Is it only me who think that getting an item like that should have more benefits - I mean its really hard to get compared to other backs you can get in M+ (End boss of an HC raid compared to getting one in a M+ that you can then upgrade with valor) Have not simmed it yet but almost confident it would loose out on a higher ilvl M+ back

For transmorg its awesome though

I mean, no other back slot items are providing both stats and direct damage. You can be disappointed because it’s not more, but it’s more than 0 that you had before, so I don’t think it’s unreasonable that it works like this.

I totally get that Sutram, what i mean is that the rewards from getting the cloak does not correspond to the effort. Ie imo its a lot easier to spam SOA for Drape of Twisted Loyalties on a + 12 or something and beef it up with valor - i am almost sure it would soon sim higher than the Quiver

That’s very easy to test though, and the cloak sims lower for you than the quiver even at ilvl 252.

The quiver isn’t meant to be an insane item imo, it’s flavour more than anything.

For marksman it does less damage than my shadowcore oil blast that being said it’s free damage at the end of the day and looks cool. I can’t really complain too much.
