Was destro in BFA. And ain’t touching Demon on principle.

it just doesnt fit affliction, but the warlock class designer doesnt play a lock probably.
What would you suggest then?
i wish they’d get rid of those pets for all specs. destro doesn’t need an infernal. demo doesn’t need a tyrant. affliction doesn’t need a darkglare.
tyrant is the only remotey interesting demon out of all the 3 but it fails due to wow’s horrible ai design.

Eh. Infernal works aesthetically with Destro.
My only complaint there is that i would very much have liked a red infernal and chaos bolt so that they fit a certain theme i want on my character.
Tyrant also works well for Demo seeing as it is a beefy demon.
i mean destro has always been the pet sac spec. i don’t think it fits at all.
idk the whole concept of your biggest damage coming from uncontrollable ai feels absolutely horrendous to me.
tyrant is a re-skinned thal’kiels’s consumption that bugs out a lot. before 8.2.5, i think, pets couldn’t even target some mobs in certain dungeons, like sob.

Yet the last few expansions Destro have been all about fire and brimstone.
i just don’t see any of these pets working idk. they feel forced, just like soul shards feel as a resource for all spec.

Destro had for a moment a differently named resource, but then whoever was put on Warlock after the sacking of our dev back in MoP messed it all up by adding back soulshards making the spec a clunky mess.
Now it uses the earlier system again but it’s still called souls shards.

This so much, the reason why I switched to affli from demo, that and demos insane amount of hardcasts and ramp up.

MoP was the peak of warlock design. They should just revert the whole class
Affliction should summon an Inquisitor instead of a darkglare.

Thinking of it, the only demons that really delve into afflictions is well dreadlords. But those are kind off on the tougher end.

Actually I kinda wished that the demons would be more spec oriented with their attacks.
Like different effects depending on your current spec.
Also at least make the Imp jump through portals instead running and trashpulling If you go for a shortcut jump.
So they will just port beside you again after a few seconds.
So in the expansion that is all about class fantasy, you want to get rid of Warlocks class fantasy? Interesting.
