Darkmoon at the moment of ending

I was told by a friend that something special happens when you are online at the moment of Darkmoon faire ending.
She couldn’t describe it or wants to keep it a secret :frowning:

Can anyone help me understand what happens when you are online with your character in the Darkmoon Faire at the moment it ends?

Does everything dissapear and it turns into an empty zone or similar?

So if you are let’s say on the wheel at the point it ends, you just get teleported out of there nothing more, nothing less?

You get a loading screen then you are back in Azeroth.

as she is confirming something completely different happened, so i’m wondering if another scenario happens if you have reputation with something or some toy active or any

is that a roleplay line that is spoken? like do you hear sounds or voices?

Ok, gonna be blunt:

Nothing happens, no special event, nada, you just get removed from the island.

Put it this way if there was some such thing, don’t you think there would be video’s etc… on youtube of it? or something written in Wowhead?

Your friend is either messing with you or, playing you for a fool.

As a Vulpera that has their camp saved at the Rep carousel, everything’s still there on the island… you just get booted out to Mulgore/Elwynn Forest. Nothing “disappears” except for the tents and banners at the portal outside.

Your friend is pulling your leg. Literally nothing happens… not even an announcement that they’re closing.

If you’re still there at the end you get roped into helping take down all the tents and put away all the games. It’s hours of work clearing up that place.
Worst thing is they don’t even pay you apart from you get to eat the left-over popcorn from the vendors.

I once experienced that. Was online and in that zone and the rides worked but i got no experience buff than i got bored and HS out.
