Equip: gives the wearer a chance on attack and spell cast to Torment their target, causing them to wander in suffering for 3 sec. (5% chance)
Now, I’m not expecting this trinket to proc on dot ticks, but I am expecting that it can proc on a dot application, especially since dots like unstable affliction and corruption have a cast time (even if it’s talented it’s still technically a cast).
ICurrently it only procs on direct damage, and so it’s not working as intended?
Fix please and thank you.

The trinket is not designed for priests. Sorry to say but it is what it is, they won’t change it
Everyone can use it this trinket, so saying it wasn’t designed for priest (due to blackout I guess?) is a poor argument, e.g. mages have impact, druids have starfire stun proc.
Also my feedback is from a Warlock perspective, it can’t even proc from 1.5s unstable affliction cast, which makes no sense.
It should proc on any successful spell cast as clearly stated in the description.
Fix it please and thank you.

This trinket has been nerfed so hard. I gor it 3 days ago or so. First day it proc’d of evert kind of dmg spell… now it procs like once every blue moon.
Yeah, sometimes exploit early, exploit often does not work out as well as other times

Not sure why you suggest this as an exploit?
We purchased this trinket expecting that it works as it’s stated in the tooltip, and currently it doesn’t.
If the devs figured that the 5% chance is over the top, then rework the proc chance to keep it somewhat relevant and not 300g vendor trash.
I never expected it to. Historically such effects never procced on dot tics
Please read before posting:
Casting a dot is casting a spell.
but a dot does no instant dmg, other spells are doing instant dmg
i just woander if this procs on moonfire, because moonfire is also a instant + dot dmg
Blackout talent:
“Gives your shadow damage spells a x% chance to stun the target for 3 seconds”
Shadow word: Pain is a dot, does no instant damage, and it procs the blackout stun on the dot application - because it’s a spell.
Why would the trinket work any differently when the description is the same?
yes it does

i think because the talent means the spell itself, instead of the dmg as a own, otherwise blackout would be completely useless, atleast in the orginal classic meta
i mean i wouldnt mind if this can proc on the long casted affliction dot, but leave shadows alone, they are already really strong, and another cc on top of it would be really toxic
imagine getting blackout, into the trinket cc there is 0 counterplay to shadows then
but yeah i feel bad that u wasted so much gold for an untested trinket
So many shadow priests with a useless 750g trinket in their bags … im seriously wondering why i even play this game.
Classic classes without runes and without any mods was so much better…
Give us thr new content without the absolute garbage unbalancable runes and spells.
Damage is so high you cant even have a decent dual.
I dueled a rogue last night and died in 3 secs. Over and over and iver again.
I bought this trinket to try and slow pvp down abit… but nah… garbage.
And you guys are saying blizz doesn’t fight inflation.

well, the 750g didn’t disappear into the system, just exchanged player hands, so inflation remains
