Quick question: Does fishing at the darkmoon faire not grant skill ups in fishing? or is it bugged?

if I remember correctly it gave skill points, do you need them for SL fishing? I guess you took SL’s skill …
They changed it in 9.1.5.
On the plus side, now you can complete the quest easily on any character without any fishing skill.
So it no longer gioves any skill ups? I have zero fishing on the character I am trying this on
you are right, it seems to have changed: reading the last comment made on wowhead, it seems that now the skill points you receive only for each cast, even if in the quest description the 5 skill points are still indicated among the rewards.
Unfortunately I still have to try the fair this month and I cannot confirm the correctness of the comment
