Darkmoon Field Guide Missing

I hope someone can help with this.

It seems I may have accidentally deleted the Darkmoon Field Guide needed for the test Your Strength quest at Darkmoon Faire. I cannot find it my inventory or bank, and using the restore item function does not list it as available to restore. Dropping the quest does not give me a new one, and I cannot do the quest without it. How can I go about getting a new one? I have not yet completed this quest on this character, but it is sitting in my log, currently being impossible. Help please!

u need to wait til DMF is back in mulgor and then ask for a new one. there is an NPC next to portal that can give you one.

the guide is not specifically tied to the quest you are doing - it’s a multi=purpose DMF bag slot taker you can get quest items for turn-ins when you carry it.
