Having an issue with returning to wow.
Dartol’s Rod of Transformation disappeared when looted from mail box following a character “gear upgrade”.

Does not show on the restore item page or the mail lost help pages,

Can someone please help, i have had this item for over a decade. The item was sent to me in the mail but when i opened the mail it disappeared.
I didn’t complete the quest it came from on purpose so didn’t think this would be an issue :frowning:
Suspect its due to the quest reset option, i cant find any way of making a ticket for this on the main site as doesn’t fit under any of the options.

Try going to ashenvale and asking the NPC to give it to you.

Just gear upgraded an old character just to realise this.
Upgrading your character will somehow make you lose the Rod. I just wrote an in-game ticket and will see how it goes from there.
I have tried going to the Quest NPC but she gives you nothing.
Very unfortunate to lose it that way because it’s not like blizz just removed it entirely for everyone but just for the ones that didn’t know it will disappear with the gear upgrade.
Still got an other alt with the rod which i will definately never use the gear upgrade on.
