With this “event” is ending tomorrow. So what are your honest opinions about it?
For me, I found the concept of when it was being talked about interesting. However, like with most things, Blizzard overhyped their own content, which turned out to be very mediocre at best.
The event felt like it was some intern project contest, and they picked this one over the others.
I hope we never see this added again in the future. However, if they do, I hope they put some more experienced eyes on it to try and at least make it more enjoyable.
For those who still need the mount from this event before it disappears, make sure you do all 4 quests (there is a 5th, but you can just ignore it) one after the other to be able to get the requirements with the NPC to buy it, along with the 2 toys and the pet and some random shoulder tranmogs (same model, just different colours).

Given how they made a bunch of achievements fot this, you can count on it returning maybe every year.
As for my opinion, imho this was a huge letdown. Playing solo at least, it was very annoying, with the tank npc never pulling the mobs into the circles, and of course, dying every now and then with seemingly no real reason. I imagine because the healer npc runs out of mana, something you can’t really do anything about.

I still don’t understand the point of it. I did some weeks as healer, and it felt like it randomly was done. My team just kept pulling the mobs out of the bonus circles. There was almost 0 difficulty in it. The rewards were crap. It was utter nonsense.
A pure waste of scarce dev resources.

Yeap this is very true. Also let’s not forget the random DPS AI (if you had a tree still standing there) “I’m going to completely ignore that boss and attack this tree that is far more threatening!!!” xD

Im just glad each round was fast.
I much more enjoy events that players work together, makes them more social and fun. If it was a 20 or 40 player instance it could be fun
Actually, even with random matchmaking it could have been way better.
100% correct.
People behind this project forgot a core fundamental about MMOs… they’re MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER! So if they do indeed bring this back in the future, they do need that group finder option, like we have for many of the monthly calendar event dungeons, where we go in, kill the boss and out in 30 seconds xD
…I did the bare minimum to get the mount, transmogs and some of the achievements - not something I would want to keep doing - mediocre is apt wording for it

I had no idea of what it was when I tried it, and wasn’t sold on the whole “score attack” thing that it seemed to be. I’m unlikely to bother with it in its current form should it return in the future. Perhaps they could give us the ability to issue commands to NPC team mates (perhaps via the ping system?) so they actually move into the scoring rings rather than hugging the areana walls.
I thought it was awful. Absolute snoozefest.
Won’t miss it.
It’s shít. As a collector I didn’t bother going after the unlockables for the podium, that’s how much I hate this thing.
The fact they made a few videos advertising this tripe is just embarrassing… Give me Brawler’s Guild any day!

I have no idea how to score in it. So will not get the achievement. The first week I got a score that was high enough for four achies but I’ve never managed to score it again.
I didn’t find it much fun either, I am missing two winners podium things and week 5 and 6 highest scores.
I havn’t really touched it yet nor do I intend to touch it now that I know today is the last day, but I did not know it was the last day.
I will let it go quietly into the night.
Maybe I would’ve checked it out if it was available day one.
Oh, there will have indeed been players who enjoyed this content. We all don’t like the same thing, after all.
No idea of the numbers who liked and who disliked it, without Blizzard sending a survey to every player that plays WoW and the publicly showing that data afterwards.
But I only hope Blizzard will actually learn from this event and improve upon it, if they decide to bring it back in the future.

I managed to get to 944k and I have absolutely 0 clue how I did it. I feel like actually scoring is more luck than anything else because when we hit that high score we were in there for ages and now we get 0 score even though we are way faster.
Terrible event but I did it anyway.

What Tah said. I was never interested but tried it anyway, found it pointless and boring.
