You don’t need to be chasing the slow time field around the boss… You just dodge the balls based on which field is affecting them and then stay in the slow one when your debuff expires. If you’re running around in circles you’re doing it wrong.
It’s fine just bubble and charge through
Main thing I want from the dungeon. Just got the corrupted version from siege but it’s not the same as the real thing
I just started playing it yesterday. The first boss we did manage. Today we continue with the second one in a few hours (hopefully). I really love the visuals, even at the second boss the skybox which basically uses the same HDRI/MISC texture from Oribos as foundation.
Also, the telegraphing is a lot better compared to other content. Especially the rotating areas on the 2nd boss is how I personally want all AoE in WoW to be telegraphed.
I had the same experience with mechagon and tazavesh
Personally I think the idea that you should get the game your way because you like it easy is insulting too. Why do people always think everything must be catered to them day 1 in a game?
Offering DIFFERENT OPTIONS is not catering to me.
It’s treating different types of players as equals.
Get your facts straight please.
Don’t try to spin me wanting to be treated as an equal, into me wanting the game catered to me. This is about Blizzard making a deliberate choice to treat a part of their playerbase as ‘lesser’ and I simply don’t think that is okay.
I also would love to have Dark Souls a lot easier so I can play it with fun and not with an aneurysm. Doesn’t change the fact that asking for making a hard game meant to be hard to be made easier is wrong.
So why should this be any different for the mega dungeons on launch? Just wait your 2 months til it gets added for you in “your way”. If you don’t bother to do the leveling and grinding for the gear, then you simply don’t deserve to play it on day 1.
I also don’t ask Blizzard to make the Raid Abberus accessible for me as a new player in DF on Level 1 because “I don’t want to level to get there”…
That is COMPLETELY different. Because WoW HAS OPTIONS. Every dungeon and raid has different difficulties so that people have the choice to run that content in the way they enjoy it.
Besides; it’s my opinion that the devs at From Software are a bunch of arrogant people.
I couldn’t care less about ‘their vision’. If I don’t enjoy a game because of ‘reason X’, then if ‘reason X’ is not fixed; they’re not getting my money. Simple.
Horrible elitist drivel.
I’m not asking for anything that isn’t THE NORM. I just want the regular difficulty options that we get with dungeons and raids. That’s not asking for anything unreasonable.
More so with this dungeon because IT IS GATING A MAIN STORYLINE.
I’m now forced to either be spoiled and watch all the stuff passively (which greatly takes away from it, for me) or try and avoid those spoilers for two months. That’s NOT okay. Main storylines should be available to each and everyone.
If it didn’t have that gating, I still wouldn’t like it, but I’d just wait. In this case though I think it is completely and utterly unacceptable.
Can’t please them all No video game has been designed to satisfy absolutely every person on the world.
I agree. And I’m not playing their games; because I dislike their whole philosophy.
And that’s fine.
But this is a different matter.
The game treats everyone as equals, you just chose to avoid non-trivial content that’s not in the queue system.
Not every content is aimed at every player. And considering you don’t like interacting with others or overcoming challenges this is definitely the case here.
And that’s fine.
Not including different difficulties proves otherwise. And that’s a fact.
Again:
A MAIN STORYLINE IS GATED BEHIND THIS DUNGEON.
Main story quests ARE aimed at every player - as they SHOULD be.
So this is a mistake and a very bad decision by Blizzard.
Challenging group content is connected to the main story? Disgusting. Grab the pitchforks
That sounds really severe and something that affects a large number of players…
I wonder why we don’t see any posts about it except from you?
I mean people always say the majority of WoW players are casuals who are just in it for the story. I’d expect the general section to be on fire if you were speaking for a large group.
Who? Not me so no clue what you taking about! That boss is just bad for range and it is my opinion.
You said the fight is bad for ranged and then gave a reason that isn’t even how you’re supposed to do the fight.
If you like boss, good for you!
Making dumb jokes about it just shows what kind of person you are.
They’re there. However… The particular part of the playerbase that’s affected by this, usually aren’t the forum go-ers. And Blizzard knows that all too well; that’s why they keep disrespecting them over and over… And when a few voices do speak up; they feed them lies. Hoping to placate them.
Well… I won’t be lied to any longer.
I won’t be letting it rest any longer.
I am sick of Blizzard’s disrespect.
And I’m sick of people like you two; who ridicule the issue.
Because you are not affected by it. Because you share Ion’s elitist views.
I am done with you both.
I’ve completed the dungeon after some trial and error, enjoyed most of it. Morchie needs to be nerfed or altered for m+ setting cause it’s simple but so incredibly annoying to deal with. And if you’d have like incorporeal affix spawn at the same time as 5 adds and 8 sec breath happen to overlap…
