It’s almost impossible to argue with people on here because they see their POV regardless if you prove it wrong or not so it’s easier to save time and just be like “You’re wrong” without much explanation because they refuse to see reason anyway ^^

i agree, i don’t get why people argue so much on these forums personally…
it’s not like it gets heard by anyone which matters most the time.
it is just ranting for ranting sake …
kind of why i don’t often talk about the game anymore.
People have different opinions, which is fine. It’s just the lack of being able to see a different point of view that causes friction.
Discussion and arguing can be good for the game as you can try to find a common ground, sadly people are too focused on “Me right, you wrong” regardless of what the other person has to say.
i have a feeling it will just be the same all over again once DF launches… more negatives… and quit threads than i can count lol .
i hope not… but you know it is kind of tradition now.
It is, when in reality the game isn’t bad, the people just got tired of it or they feel the fake sense of accomplishment in letting strangers who enjoy the game know that they dislike the game.
It almost never includes good feedback, it’s always a “bad, im out” not a reason why it’s bad or even better, a way to improve on what they think is bad.
It’s a shame people think the world turns around them and if they don’t like something everybody has to dislike it.
i was one of those people for a bit…
i would argue my point why the game was bad…
but i came to a realisation that it was just my persona view and tbh it stands for nothing…
these days i just point out the stupidity and contradictory circles which keep appearing in peoples arguments on here …
in the hopes that one day people are realising they are both arguing the exact same things for not reason and it will just go on and on with no end.

This game is dying, wow turned into seasons after legion mythic+ got here, it’s a bad thing if u ask me.
Playerbase dropped big time after mythic+ got here, this game is all about seasons fomo atm nothing else.

I doubt it, we just got a new season with 100% no stuff for solo players, it shows what blizzard wanna prioritize on.
We had slime cat from lfr but they even removed that.
It is tradition, which is why at this point people have been drilled into a seemingly inescapable position of doubt that the game will ever improve again.
The proof will be in the pudding, but I do think Dragonflight will be different, or at least the first step to the game becoming different, if they change the game too quickly they risk further alienating their audience, but if they don’t change the game fast enough they risk more people being alienated for good.
I imagine it’s a fine line for them to tread.
It isn’t just the content that’s changing, it’s the way we interact with the game, they’re making monumental shifts in how we play this game and interact with it’s world, bigger changes than the game has ever seen, as usually the game doesn’t actually change or evolve, it just has things removed.
Like, an interact button and a dynamic targeting system that would mostly benefit controller players? that’s a more significant change to this game than any whole expansion we’ve had.
M+ isn’t the problem, the problem is that it’s been the sole focus of development for like 7 years now, it’s been a higher priority than the majority’s fantasy/fun, it’s become an endless competition rather than a cool world to play in that happens to also have obstacles of competition.
It IS possible for them to cater to both kinds of player, and more, but we’ll have to wait and see if they manage it.

The game is not dying, people have been screaming that wow is dying since it’s 3rd expansion. Get a grip.
The game fell off a lot, it’s nowhere near it’s peak but not many games are that are this old. The game has ALWAYS been seasoned base, even in classic the seasons were the patches.
I DO however agree with you that I would love for them to add more content than instanced content to the game.

you know mods are addons which put overlays in the game which otherwise would not exist.
reading a journal and watching a video is not the same thing.
but somehow i think that you think it is.
What I think is funny is that you could give people like him DBM and tell him to play a dungeon he never played before and see how far he gets without dying to something DBM “plays” for him.

What overlays?
Overlays are effects and animations which are placed on top of the game from a third party source, which would not usually be there…
say a countdown timer above your head which DBM has… or a inturrupt sound/prompt…
it is the same concept that some hacks use in other types of games… i dont know if you have ever used a wall hack in a game before… but it is basically a overlay which makes objects which should be solid slightly transparent … enough to see what is happening behind them.

Why are you comparing timers to wallhacks? You can count down in your head, it’s just convenience.
it is both things added to the game through a outside source which gives the player an advantage in a certain fight…
so yes they are very much the same if u like it or not.
