Hey all, I’ve been looking at big wigs and little wigs ( the one for instances) and they look the same. I was just wondering if either is better than the other and why?
Thanks in advance.

DBM is for more noobs i think, the UI shows almost everything that is going on a fight
I prefer big wigs to be honest, it’s more distinctive and compact.
Both you need to customize a lot, allthough for DBM you want to disable almost everything except some important timers. For wigs you have to enable everything you want. There’s not much difference.
They’re pretty much the same. The biggest difference is that DBM is more BOLD.
What I mean by that is… whereas Big Wigs gives you little dings and bobs that you’ll hear if you pay a little attention, DBM will play giant warning sounds that practically blow your ears off with airhorns and stuff like that. And this also extends through to the size of the bars and many other UI elements. You can totally change it though.
Which you prefer is a matter of personal taste. DBM’s blow-your-ears-off does make sense in the context of trying to blow out WoW’s noise with something actually important, but… well, it blows your ears off.
You can customize both of them to a very large extent and they are inter-compatible.
I find the sounds in DBM too intrusive.
I react better to a “Ping” than my computer screaming “Run away little girl! Run away”.
Although, I am sure you can change the sounds if you want to, it’s just far too much hassle. That sort of quality of life should be out of box.
Cant stand the bigwig noises and i cba going through the effort of changing them.
DBM works just fine even if apparently “its for noobs”
DBM hasn’t done that for a long time.
I use DBM because it’s the one I’ve always used and it works for me. If something works, I tend not to be inclined to change it, although I have added a weakaura this season that changes the way DBM’s visual information is displayed and makes it easier to keep track of.
It just boils down to personal preference.
Lol, that’s how long ago I moved away from DBM
And never looked back. First impressions count I guess
