DDoS with 403 error on blizzard services on 22.05.2025 Soulseeker

Hi,

More details about what happened to me and others: Lybe

Can provide to dev team at request details and images with 403 error on blizzard services.

Is not fun to play hardcore like this.

Edit: Is anyone answering to this issue, as this cannot be tackled via ticket or customer service support?

I’m really sorry for your loss, is frustrating to die like this.
Let’s see what answer we get.

Last time when a DDOS happened to NA servers, they did rollback. This is exactly the same , even more serious, since all versions of wow, including bnet were down. It makes no sense to make an exception for the NA, but not for EU , so I"m expecting to bring back the ppl who died due to no fault on their side.

i hope so too. It was clearly a complete bnet failture

Still havent heard anything… i think i have lost all hope… they wont rollback us since we are eu and no big streamers died. It is sad that they do this to their regular players…

Hey mate, yes they won’t unfortunately. I’ve canceled my subscription, also a few friends of mine did the same (their characters are alive). This is the best decision for me, as I found out that there are better games to play with friends. Is not worth investing time and energy on this as they are selling a poor service. The concept of hardcore is great as long as you die like a hero, but when the server crashes and you receive the same “fallen hero” email, the concept is bad which creates frustration. Customer support is an infinite loop with AI bots, now here we are on forums with no response or solution from blizzard. Yes, I think content creators received instant attention when these issues occurred on Doomhowl. But I really don’t care about this, now is about us or it was.

As a conclusion, from a customer perspective - paying for entertainment, but receiving frustration and bad experiences, not because there’s something wrong on our side - is not worth our time and energy.

My advice is to let it go, cancel your subscription but don’t do it as an act of revenge, do it as an act of solidarity for your time and energy. Your time and energy, also your money you work for, you as person and player, are more worth to be invested in better gaming experiences than on services that blizzard is currently offering.

God bless!
