more than half high keys i done is my own keys but sometimes you get tilt & boring (doing cycle nonstop ply own key to increase lvl and deplate and cycle again ) so you want play other keys!
Guilds aren’t quite the answer to everything these days especially if you are someone new to a guild because cliques sometimes don’t want to invite newer people to dungeons/raids etc even when there’s space for them.
Players do not want to adhere to a group with rules and schedules. They want to power up the game and instantly play. Some don’t even want to type “Hi”. But simultaneously they want the benefits and rewards of an organized, scheduled and rule-full guild.
It is difficult for some players to accept that the limit of how far they can progress is not strictly tied to how good they can play their character. After some point you have to be social, a team player, and someone who can follow orders.
from next expansion even in pug groups voice chat will become key to progress .as combat addons that people relied upon wont be there to tell them when somebody is interrupting or doing anything else .
You sure about that - just this morning I saw something on Beta where they added interrupt notifications for self or group. Have not tested it myself but I gauged it meant it would show who interrupted and who still has interrupt available. etc.
On the one hand, if you want to push keys you need to network. That’s a given. But on the other hand, you are correct in your frustration.
ALL other game modes have some form of inflation. Raids, delves and PvP. But not M+. We dont have that.
And Blizzard has to address that. I have been saying for YEARS that they need to implement weekly tuning. They MUST. Blanket 1% to 2% buff to all classes EXCEPT the meta classes. Every single week.
You acheive 2 things with this:
Inflation. Which means that you will never get stuck ping-ponging for ever at some key level.
Stale meta.
But they dont. They simply dont care. So the best thing you can do is stop playing (like I have) and eventually they will do something. Because they wont do anything as long as you keep logging in and wasting 2h of your time in Donorgal. For them, it’s the same.
Disagree on what exactly? Because apparently they agree for Raids, PvP and Delves.
Let me sort of expose what they do with Raids:
What happens when you get a boss like Tindral. Where just a small fraction of people are willing to wipe 400 to 500 times on that boss to kill it?
Well… it’s called a Guild Killer boss. Why? Because everyone has a limit. Not everyone is OK with dying over and over again for 3 months in a row with 0 results. Eventually someone stops playing.
And that is how Tindral kills Guilds.
So. How did blizzard fix that? They (A) nerf the boss over time. And (B) added a flat % buff via reputation. Precisely to keep the “sensation of progress” such that people dont quit and leave.
PvP has this. Raids have this. JEEZ even Delves have this. And since that is not enough, they will add even MORE:
So. If the “sensation of progress” is something that people agree to. Something that Blizzard agrees to. And something Blizzard actually takes steps into doing it…
WHY dosent M+ have it? That is just ONE problem. Stale meta is another problem. And it should also be addressed. My proposal kills 2 birds with 1 stone.
Plus: The “note” situation is hilarious. ALL keys above a +15 should not deplete anymore. There is no other way around it. THAT or simply start banning those idiots. Cause that is not OK.
If you cannot play the game you’re paying for, change the game mode entirely (pvp for example) like I did. Otherwise it stops being fun. And yes there is something fundamentally wrong with M+ community and queues.
