I am a returning player, and I am sorry to say that I am getting frustrated by your guild finder, which apparently shows all chars in a guild as active players AND do never adjust the status of a dead guild. I have found many of the guilds I was interested in online, and many have been dead for years! It is not easy to get a guild when the only tool is giving misinformation! This should be easy to fix, if you want us to remain players. As a returning player, this and the Mythic+ dungeons make it virtually impossible for me to get going. Please can you fix this in the next patch…? Other than that I like most changes! I just want to find a guild that suits me without applying and waiting for answers from people that left wow years ago 
Magical In-Game Bug Report
CS doesn’t handle nor forward bug reports: We submit bug reports through the In-Game Bug Report in the Europe Region.
Reports submitted in this fashion will not receive a response. Instead, they’ll be directed to the teams responsible for addressing them.
The guild finder shows adverts for guilds which have been posted by someone in that guild within the last month - they expire after that time (or they should … if they are still showing up, then that does sound like a bug).
The number of guild members that it shows (and indeed the “guild master” it shows), is based on when it was posted and who posted it. So it shows the number of guild member characters as at the time of posting, and the “guild master” is actually shown as whoever posted it … so could be an officer, for example.
