Hello, noob question is there some way to turn off the /say countdowns in DBM?
Things like “Explosive corruption”
“3”
“2”
“1”
it spams out my chat box and is generally annoying without being at all useful.

Without being an expert on the addon, I believe that there is an option, to turn off/filter warnings. If I’m not mistaken it is called “Show special warning in chat frame” in the latest addon iteration. For more information about it, I would suggest that you contact the DBM creator!
