Pretty much this. Outplaying the Rdruid is a team effort, dmg onto everything, especially if someone is not hotted already, smash that guy and force him to fullhot that target, if he pushes in for clones swap onto him, purge as much as you can without eating the penalty.
Also 1 Dps should play goalie for you, meaning he stops the rdruid when you get pushed into for a clone.
Thereâs many different ways to win as your comp, IF youâre Holy. If youâre Disc, go Holy, Disc Destro is an awful comp.
Your warlock should play sucubuss
Sleep healer with the sucubuss, use Holy priest stun on enemy DPS when you see the enemy healer being slept by the sucubuss and Power Infusion your warlock and blast
Wait for double Mortal coil and stun the dps when the coil is ending on the next gos
Watch Jazggz on twitch to learn exactly how the comp works, or his YouTube, super easy guides
Get drinks whenever enemy team is hiding behind pillars
Source: Played the comp from both specâs perspective, itâs really nice and somewhat easy to win with if you coordinate your stuns and CC. Reset stun via Smites and Holy fires as much as possible when your warlock isnât tanking dmg
Rdruid is just beyond broken. There is very little you can do about them and they are the main reason I quit healing. I refuse to play it and everything else feels so horrible. What I did was offensive dispel on donuts that are obviously going to run behind corners and hoped my dps notice it too for swaps. You cant ever win a pve or long game against it. Try to be offensive, help with dmg, dispels or anything that makes the game faster or you lose by default. Try to land fears. It helps a lot, but its hard against enemies, who arent completely braindead.
Thing is Destruction warlock needs assistance with setup, aka needs stuns so Chaos bolts can be casted. This is why Disc usually plays with more CC-heavy classes in 2s, such as Rogue and Hunter and Feral
Swap target on cenarion ward, donât be afraid to punish druid if he goes into the open.
Your DPS should stop clones on you, especially the ones where druid stuns you beforehand. This is where you need your DPS to stormbolt/spell lock/anything to stop the clone
Donât let him drink, try to be or have your teammate in vicinity of the druid to stop him
Pray because druids are broken anyway with infinite mana and stupid treants
Choose violence:
Covenant + Equilibrium, HarshD + Weal&Woe, Expiation + dblDeath
InnerShadow or DarkArch for burst teams.
Atonement & nuke constantly. Never cast heal. You are here to hurt someone. Ideally the rdruid, but any nonCCâd enemy will do.
Do not hide:
Take Phase Shift and the Fade cd reductions. Its the most satisfying button we have atm.
SWD the moment a melee moves in your directionâŚ
If you have to eat the clone, trade barrier or PS into it
Go max range or melee range. Never mid range, thatâs the no-no zone.
This is not a winning strategy. However you get to punch the fotm in the face repeatedly. Which feels good. The rounds you do win, you probably scored the kill.
I like to think they can feel my contempt riding on that final SWD.
It definitely feels like an uphill battle. They have an answer for everything and we are also the only healer that doesnât really have a cheat death.
I have actually been trying this and gotten some decent results when my arena partner Isnât running around and I have to play cat and mouse.
I have talented for the damage reduction but never used PVP talent phase shift, may give this a go.
I like catharsis for the big Purge the Wicked and Inner light/ Inner shadow. for dmg/ saving mana on long fights.
May swap out Ultimate radiance. even though it procs from the tier set I like to have it available not to hard cast.
warriors and priests can aoe fear the treants, its what good ppl usually try and use some aoe cc like blinding light etc on them before they are trying to kill
next week the trees abilities are nerfed ~20% or so and more healing shifted towards the druid himself but these broccolis will still be handy during goâs you predict. you just time them for when ur off stun dr and rogue gets kidney example
how do i deal with paladins of everykind everywhere as dps and healers keeping permanent walls on their teammates? i cannot do any cc that breaks from dmg and everyone has permanent walls top of bop and almost every arsenal of a healer given even to the dps paladin, how do i deal? asking for a friend
imagine endless stream of lobbys of arms, retri, aug, you, 2x hpala nothing dies and it is really nice
Catharsis feels bad vs the cyclowns.
InnerShadow feels the best for your atonement and aggression.
DarkArch is probably the best choice. Especially with an assassin team. Itâs off the gcd, so macro it into your PI, turn your MM into a railgun ^^
Phase Shift is without question your favorite button vs every caster bro.
But especially vs cyclown.
Put it somewhere important. Talent it down to 20sec. Noping Cyclones is gamechanging. Youâll quickly learn to reflexively Nope all kinds of things. Including dispel protection
Bonus: You are now a Mage Killer. Your blend of SWDs+PhaseShifts allows you to defeat the poly spam. Apply your own Dispel spam. Never let them have a single buff. Delight in watching the gameâs meta caster flee in naked terror from a D tier healer!
I cast cyclone, press button name juke, watch them fade and cast cyclone
It dont help much if your team dont have kicks bind or awareness but it helps little and alot in arena where u play with ppl other than shuffle exp lol
