I’m writing on behalf of many players in the Mists of Pandaria Classic community. Over the past months, a growing number of us have become increasingly concerned about the current state of the game.
Many realms are becoming inactive, Dungeon queue times have become increasingly long, which has significantly slowed down the leveling experience. In many cases, players spend 45 minutes to over an hour per level, particularly without any available XP buffs. In addition, several technical issues are affecting the gameplay experience. For example, Throne of Thunder (10 and 25-player, both Normal and Heroic) appears to have multiple bugs. We have also encountered quests that do not function properly, as well as issues with the Celestial buffs behaving inconsistently inside instances.
Beyond technical problems, the in-game environment is also being negatively affected by bot activity and frequent ninja-looting incidents, which further damages the player experience and discourages people from continuing to play.
Many players feel frustrated because we genuinely care about the game and want Mists of Pandaria Classic to succeed. However, the current situation makes it difficult to stay motivated when these issues remain unresolved for long periods of time.
We would greatly appreciate it if someone from the development or support team could review the current state of these systems and provide some communication about whether fixes or improvements are planned. Even transparency about what is being worked on would go a long way in restoring player confidence.
Right now, many players feel unheard, and some have already stopped playing due to the ongoing problems. We hope Blizzard will take a closer look at these concerns and help ensure that Mists of Pandaria Classic can live up to the quality and legacy that players expect.
Thank you for your time and for listening to the community.
Sincerely,
Concerned Mists of Pandaria Classic players
I will comment about this since I don’t care about MoP at this point :
The frequent ninja-looting incidents has become a real problem exactly …1 weeks after the introduction of RDF in Wotlk. Before RDF I’ve encountered I think a maximum of 5 (?) ninja loots in ..what? 6 months of Wotlk or more? And the overwall experience of doing a Dungeon was MUCH, MUCH more friendly. Wipes encountered with no kicks ( literally - I had Dungeons runs with 7 wipes and no one left or rage quit or bad talks etc. And we did it finally ).
..but as soon as RDF was introduced, in my second RDF Dungeon I got kicked as a healer ( Shaman ) after the first wipe because 3 out of 5 where sitting in the icething which I forgot the name of it and I tried to heal them as best as I could and also keep tank alive.
That was very disappointed. And after that, it got worst with every single day. Ninja loots has become a norm, zero communication, zero strategy, wipes after wipes, tanks pulling a room full of mobs only to die in 5 seconds, kicks left and right with reasons “noob” , etc. I left many groups which randomly kicked people because they had 10% less dps than “the norm” , or simply died from the icething or whatever what skills like this were in the Dungeons.
This happened because people could finally be who they are with the introduction of RDF: Selfish little bastards, with zero sense of group play.
So I am very happy that I did not played Cataclysm ( did it for 2 months only ) and MoP ( did it to level 87 I think ). Because beside the RDF and in general a very bad community, this are also bad expansions.
Nothing against people playing and enjoy them.
But anyway! There is that! TBC Anni is a JOY to play vs Classic.
Bro played MoP and only made it to level 87… and then spends 4 months crying about how bad the expansion is… holy molly brother. You sure belong to anniversary andy cluster.
You didn’t even get to max level, meaning you didn’t do any HC dungeons, any rep dailies, any pvp, or any raids at all. You pretty much didn’t experience any of the end game content and you still call the expansion bad. I think you are mentally issued, I can only feel sorry for you.
Sure, and what did you do in original MoP a decade ago? Did you even step in any raid? Did any pvp? Or just leveled to 87 and quited again to say how bad the xpac is?
What? Are you for real ? I played it for 3 months. If that’s not enough for a game/expansion to form an opinion then please, go enjoy your little Pandas and be happy with a bad expansion which is MoP.
Raids too hard? Any bg attempt? You just did some hc dungeons and called an entire expansion bad… Go play easier content Jagarde, everone knows you suck at the game. You can even be the king in TBC HC dungeons! lmao
Most of the WoW playerbase across classic and retail plays mostly for raids so yea. And I never said is only the raids, the class design is also really good, all specs feel fun to play and bring utilities for all encounters, unlike vanilla or tbc where all specs are 2 button rotations and gatekeeping makes some classes never get raid/dungeon spots.
Raids after wotlk demand a lot for molten core brained players, so is normal you don’t find them appealing, but don’t worry those with the skill and willing to overcome them sure are enjoying them.
Everyone knows the best part of the game is the end game content because it challenges your individual performance and coordination as a group either pve or pvp, anything before that is boring daily grindy babyfood.
If you didn’t kill a single boss even on normal your opinion on the expansion means nothing. Also bgs are not end game content for pvp, that would be arenas or rated battlegrounds, but I guess you are also too bad for them.
How slow and dense can you be Jagarde? There has to be a legal limit to how many braincells I lost reading your stuff no?
Did you find pvp bad since you did so many bgs? Did you find class design to be worse than in TBC in any aspect? What about the many QoL the expansion brought that you beg to have in classic+?
So no, is not just the raids that make the expansion good and the fact that you are so bad at the game you couldn’t even raid once in 3 months doesn’t change that.
Did you move your character, are you on a legacy realm? The remaining realms are connected.
Unless you’re on a low pop region server, they’re all connected. Dungeons are even connected with the legacy realms…
Though considering how long this expansion has been out, I’m not that surprised queueing for lower level dungeons is hard, it requires people keep leveling new characters.
But you’re absolutely right, we are being ignored, and the only comments on a post like this will be from other players.
Has absolutely nothing to do with RDF, that’s just how players are!
The amount of messages in chat requiring you to be a top speed runner player was equally horrendous before we got RDF!
And personally I had fun leveling both Cataclysm and Mist of Pandaria. I didn’t level as many characters to max as I did in earlier expansions, but that downfall started way back in vanilla.
For each expansions I’ve done less and less, but still enjoyed playing them.
I did move on. But from time to time, I come back to put MoP lovers back with their feet on the ground. MoP is the less played expansion from all Classic(s) and Anni. So I had to come here to see the little MoP defender how they react when now is official.
