Dying in BGs sucks, but dying on a SP is worse because you need to reactivate Shadowform and Fortitude before mounting up. That’s 2 globals and a mount before you can even get back into the fight. It may not sound like much, but on a level 66 SP you get focused HARD by melee specs and die a lot.
I’d love it if Shadowform would remain enabled - I’m okay with recasting fortitude as usual. I noticed maybe 1 time out of 10 it will stay on, and I’ll accidentally turn it off then wonder why my DP refuses to work. I don’t really understand it. Can it not just stay on?
I’d argue it’s part of their identity, not just a buff - without Shadowform you’re not able to use SP abilities, and therefore not a Shadow Priest. Imagine if a fury warrior had to re-equip one of their 2h weapons after every death.
We’re not talking about something that is optional here. Shadowform is absolutely necessary and so it should remain active until you manually turn it off.
Depending on your settings you can just test while flying, by default it won’t dismount you. I don’t know anyone but druids who’ll change that setting.
It’s Disperse that works, BTW, if you ever wanted to be a dark cloud zipping by at 800% speed on your dragon. So idk if that makes us the only class which can sprint while mounted
In Warmode it’s fun to dismount people with an ability, CC them while airborne so they don’t avoid fall damage and use any form of jump/teleport/slow fall to avoid dying yourself.
I know dragons can dismount themselves but you don’t always have 3 vigor and the way it propels you makes it awkward to then U-Turn and locate the target before they mount back up.
