I know this has been talked about before, but i want to talk specifically about some of Blood Elf Death Knight’s animations. Starting with Unholy spec, scourge strike looks ridiculous and clearly the animation is outdated. Other classes such as warriors got nice animation updates back in bfa or even legion, not sure why this was overlooked. If you pvp and use clawing shadows, it’s even more ridiculous as you’re sometimes spamming it to pop wounds and your character is just spinning in place from far away, I mean, common. Considering Scourge Strike and Clawing Shadows are some of the most used abilities in the spec, it would be really nice if we got a new animation that doesn’t include ridiculous spinning.
As for frost everything was fine until I noticed the same spinning animation with 2h frost strike now that we can wield 2h them again, so please fix this aswell.
My solution was to play human male, at least they do not spin.
They jump up, which I like.
Would play Dwarf, but heck that spin is awful.
I’m sure some people either like that spin, or got so used to it - they would be sad to lose it.
Maybe let us change animations in barber shop? He/she is already doing plastic surgeries, why not teach some dance moves
Yes Im saying it for a while now everywhere I can, the Belf jumping spinning hit is ridiclous especially on the most spammed abilities(on unholy after unholy assault you have to do like 4-5 SC and its so bad). I have to use toys like coin of many faces to get the “simple swing” movesets. I wished they will do something with it with the recent obliterate moveset change but nothing sadly.
@Vidø i have the exact problem with male blood elf and i have an awkward solution to your problem, what i do is go to the barber shop and change to female and then go on my alchemist and create a thing called (Transformic Tincture), this will change your gender, but the thing is when youre a female blood elf and you change to a male blood elf with this potion, Scourge Strike animation changes to the same one as Undead good luck i hope this help you
