I mostly use warhammer random name generator because they can give pretty funny names like the skaven ones: Guteye, Verminscream, Bitterborn etc… If you choose the chaos ones those are really edgy if you are looking for that kind.

Depends on your preference, but for me names usualy go like this

Choose a race, pick class, try to think of name. Being on rp realm, find all names taken (likely back in vanilla/tbc days lol)

However i find there are many generators ( fantasy roleplay name generators) for lots of different races and games.
There are race/alien language pages and translators (i have used the google kronos dialect klingon translation page once or twice lol) and dictionary pages here and there.

I had a cleric back in neverwinter nights who’s surname was LotR elvish for healer. A DH test here in wow who’s name was deathdealer in Drow.
And you wouldnt belive how usefull dictionarys of greek/roman gods ( usualy made for university students i think lol) can be for the alternate names a partiular god/godess can be, if you wanted a specific name, but it was allready taken

Sorry for doing that but we have to ‘suffer well’:

  • Replace ‘oo’ with ‘u’ since ‘Doom’ is spelled like ‘Dum’* anyway :sweat_smile:

  • Raise your ‘p’ using ‘b’ turning ‘pest’ into ‘best’ :sweat_smile:
