Death Knight's and Saronite!

So, I was just having a heated discussion regarding the strength of saronite, someone claims that it’s very brittle and can be shattered quite easily with physical impact… now from my understanding that saronite is actually hardened blood of Yogg-Saron the old god, wouldn’t that make saronite a very strong material? I’ve read that it can absorb arcane, holy light and nature type magic… discuss!!

Whole ICC is buildt with it. Archeus is buildt with it. All scourge / DK weapons/armors were forged with it.
Arthas armor was forged with it. Frostmourne was forged with it (? Was it? Can’t remember really, thus guessing).

Doubt it is brittle - it’s just a metal mixed with Old God’s blood, making it mess with the minds of a living when in contact, and adds some boons like arcane / nature resist tho? And boosts void/shadow element magic? Holy tho should be more effective vs Saronite tho, as proved by Tirion atop of ICC. Holy and Void are countering each other it seems.

Like ALL metals, especially if they are not alloys. After they have been forged and cooled they are brittle. Once they are tempered however they’re strength is greatly magnified.

But as saronite is a fictional material you can ignore all that I guess.

That is strange though, Saronite was main material around ICC expansion but not the best? like some trashy Titanium was better than Mighty Saronite? Hardened blood of old god?

Given that I can take almost all of LK’s health with 1 attack, i’m pretty sure he’s a brittle lil beach!

I doubt that as a lv 40

OOF quakes in her boots

No. Frostmourne was reforged with it during Legion, but the original was a blade crafted by the Dreadlord’s offworld.

Far from it, one of the strongest metals on Azeroth for it’s weight. Drives the living insane and is heavily resistant to all forms of magic including holy.
