No it doesnt, lets disect the two words here, first lets start with choice 1 ability does by on itself does not provide meaning, however if that ability provides a 10+% performance increase it does become somewhat mandatory which removes choice. Aestethic vs Ability you like vs Power is also not a choice, if you care about proggresion you choose power, if you care about mogs/story you go with Aestethic, if you like gameplay you go with the ability, altough the abilitiesthemselves provide very little in terms of gameplay due to them beeing mostly fire and forget. Now lets see meaningfull, if you care about all these aspects of the character you are screwed because by meaningfull Blizzard mean choose which way you will be unsatisfied with your character, wich is not fun, so in a game this loses all meaning.

Well yeah ofc I am, its way too broad of a system that encompasess player choice, player class and class spec all at the same time to be feasibly balansable. The other thing is its way too much systems ontop of one another, wich would mean that to hit the >5% treshhold we are aiming at, the ability should do around 2% of your overall performance wich would essentially make it a dead button, it would be better to press your filler spell instead than to lose a GCD on the cov ability. And thats the easy math, now lets look at the rest of it, soulbinds have around 7 rolls if im not mistaken so that would mean each one should be 0.3% troughput, soulbinds are the same.
And before someone comes in and tries to say that the argument was not that covenants over all would be 5% but the diffrence, i would like to remind you that the warlack night fae ability exist and has negative troughput, yes you hear me right negative trough put. Activating the ability actually decreses you dps, not only that but the first activation that chunks 20% off your HP is actually less of dps loss than using both activations (the second one beeing ofc the improve DL).
Point of fact is an AoE cannot be blanced to an ST. If the AoE deals the same number as the ST that makes the AoE the best choice, same goes for the CC. If your argument will be that they should not be blance then again you just pick the one that would suit the majority f the content and that would be the best choice, leading to the same exact conclusion wich is covenants will be more than a 5% troughput increase be they baseline or diferentials.

Quite a lot of people (myself included) have nothing against LGBT people. Why should we? Okay, these people exist, they are somewhere among us and need to find their own place under the sun. Fine.
But here comes the next point. Artists include LGBT characters in their art. And so modern books, movies and computer games are full of representatives of sexual minorities. This was literally unknown just a few years ago. Is it a surprise that it came as a shock.
It feels forced. It’s a pose. It’s like : “hey, here we are. look at us!” And then my question is - why do you do that? Why should I care? Why should I feel obliged to care? Remember the simple rule: nobody owes you anything. You aren’t entitled to be liked and loved. Heck, I wasn’t loved during a huge portion of my life. I was an outsider at school and got dumped by my first girlfriend. Guess what? I fought for my happiness. I really had to strive to be accepted by the family of my current love, by the church. And that’s totally, absolutely fine! Nobody owed me anything.

Shadow’s rising sucked. It was boring from start to finish. Madeleine Roux is a terrible writer. Goldielocks is not very fun to read either, and the only book I’ve liked of hers was when she assisted in writing on Beyond the Dark Portal. You shouldn’t be forced to read boring fantasy books to learn about a character being turned gay for the sake of the book to be modern, to have an opinion on a character that you see in a game.
Idk I think they just need to get better writers.

People are fed up with gay agenda, why is it so hard to comprehend?
I used to have sympathy for Black people in the past but then I realized all they do is complaining about racial discrimination. Barrack Obama was elected as President of USA, they kept complaining. 2016 presidential debate was hosted by a black guy, they kept complaining. A criminal named George Floyd died, they tried to turn that to a political movement, let me ask, do Police in USA kill only black people? No, they caused many white criminals’ death as well but we didn’t have #WhiteLivesMatter right. All these caused me to dislike many things about them, now I block people if I see #BLM on their profiles, that is how intolerant I’ve become.
I lived in Turkey for 20 years, life for gays was really harsh in the past and I was like “What is the point let them do what they want as long as they don’t disturb me, I don’t understand this rage about them…” Then I realized gays started to be everywhere on Tv series, movies and lastly they started to occupy Pegi13 games as well, they are everywhere now and that is the reason why this started to get disturbing for many.
And getting called “homophobic” for everything we say is just not helping at all to LGBT cause, I will underline that too. They need to relax.
