So changes up for the 25th show quite a large chunk of our healing is being removed.
I think it has gone a little too far mind…
It could have been toned down a bit but the hit its had is going to hurt in pvp alot.
I’d imagine at 470 it may have been needed but many players will sit happy at around 450ilvl and at about 450k hp with full essences etc.
So in pvp 45k heal currently at minimum.
In the new nerf that just 22.5k which for most classes is cannon fodder numbers now.
I could abide that until you nerfed post damage to 20%… that should be 30% if you with to remove it down.
Remember blizzard you buffed previously this expansion it as it was required in pvp for both frost and unholy to survive!!
Don’t now over nerf it to the ground and make it all unviable again. Players like me just invested a reasonable few hours to get to somewhere half decent and you are taking it all away again with over swinging that bat again…
I don’t know how many times people have to say this…tune more lightly, you dont need a sledgehammer to crack a nut!

Well, you don’t tune around 450, you tune around 470. That’s because tuning should be done to the top, not to the bottom. For example, if you play a firemage in PvE with bad gear and no knowledge of the rotation, you’ll do bad dps. I’d wager most fire mages do bad dps because of either one of those reasons. Does that mean we buff fire mages? No, because they’re really good already if you know what you’re doing.
And DK healing in PvP has been a little busted for a while now. Being able to heal yourself to full with no cooldowns whatsoever by just spamming death strike is kind of ridiculous especially when you’re not playing a tank. And a lot of other specs had their survivability nerfed as well. It would have been outrageous if other specs survivability was nerfed in PvP but dk’s were left untouched.

DEATH STRIKE is a skill that is in basic mechanism of dk so he can survive this seems catastrofic is huge nerf…as it was in start of expation.
also in arena sitution can be disarm and also need runic power, so is not free heal.
blizard if you dont wanna off heal from the speck and traits… then all extra off heals nerf to all classes for arena and pvp not only on dk.
nerf leech from dh, buble from warlock, feral bumkin and all class that doing of heal and thay are not healers. which some of the classes like destro lock and dh the heal are passive is just there…

PvP designers lack the knowledge of the game they design. Besides that, I’m sure they don’t care what the players say and how much time you put into your class.

I would have liked to see a DH nerf as well. I was surprised they didn’t do it. I agree with you that it’s pretty silly they decided not to do that.
Well now you are at enhancement heal levels but with better utility and defenses. Somewhere out there one DK humiliated DH dev main xD Now you will see ww DH and rogues as melee representatives on tournament. DK was my main for this xpac and season 1 is again on us, then i made enhancement and they killed it after s1, and now i play fury until they kill it.
Does anybody at Blizzard knows what’s going on in Arenas? Because hotfixes are telling me the exact opposite.
DS was kinda OP but this will be too much, our DMG were nerfed before, and now you are nerfing our healing spell into the ground. But okay, i will accept it. Then how about nerfing Assa rogues too? It has insane amount of dmg and it’s literally the best CC in the entire game, BUT atleast it’s requires some amount of skill. But you know what doesn’t? Freakin DH’s, where is the DH nerf? a casual player smashes it’s head into the keyboard as a DH and it will cleave down a healer and it’s Dps in arena under 5 seconds. But that’s fine, or how about leech? how about that DH dodges every second attack from a meele and also heals almost as good as DS (If not better) before the nerf. Or let’s see, how about Lock’s? Stading in the middle of the arena with 550k HP and spamming 80-110k chaos bolts? Tho i understand the pov of Lock’s since all of their other talents are just not viable in PvP. hmmm…what else we have? oh, Monk healer wich puts literally a bubble on you every 2 min?
Everytime i go into arena it’s Rogue+disc/ Rogue + Druid/ Druid + Dh / Resto/Hpala + Lock and some DK’s. Oh, Fire mage. I understand that it’s constant dmg is a trash, but a mage did 40k dps on me in arenas with combustion. 40K DPS. Anyways, BFA isn’t an xpac for PvP for sure. It’s so messed up with rng proc’s and literally basic unbalanced things that’s it’s actually funny for now. I’m enjoying more running trough old instances and raids than playing current content.

Death Strike uses resources … you need to spend 3~4 runes to get that resource… how is that with no cooldown?!
Fury has a similar heal o na 3 sec CD. That wasn’t nerfed.
2/3 of dps specs can easy kill blood DK and now you reduce our heal against them !!! When was the last time, you tested WM ON gameplay blizzard ?!? DH is immortal but there is no nerf at hes healing ??? Did you even have ingame testers anymore ?!? Activision killed all of the Blizzard games… 2/3 of specs are unplayable at m+ runs or no one takes them…Lets kill 95% of specs and all play dh,fire mage and prot warrior…GJ Blizzard GJ !!!

And the change is now at 30% not 20% from 40% so a better placed nerf compared to before.
We shall see for now how it plays out I guess, least we got post damage heal somewhere reasonable.
I don’t know how Death Strike is fealt by Frost, but, on Unholy, when I start using Death Strike it usually means I lost the fight, becasue it just prolongs the inevitable becasue I lose DPS.(which doesn’t happen for DH or Fury or even fu.kin Blood)
Deamon Hunters kill me in Transfusion + IBF with the un-nerfed DS. I’m not staying in the game to find out how I will die with the new DS.

After logging in to play arena and bgs yesterday I can confirm… The nerf is waayyy to much. Practiced with full runic in duels too vs a pretty badly geared surv hunter and the healing is so grim. Literally unplayable facing people with decent gear and corruption… (I’m using 467 ilvl with 20% versa at 2.1 rating and getting deleted so easily by every class atm)
Hope they actually read the negative feed back this is getting and hotfix it asap. 50% nerf is a joke
