So yesterday I was on my DK, outside of Stormwind just to duel for fun. Dueled a ret pally a couple of times then he asked me why I don’t heal myself then I asked him to lower my hp bar so I could show him how Death Strike heals. I showed him how it healed, he felt bad for me, I felt bad for myself so we both sat down and continued feeling bad about DKs.
Why feel bad? DS heal is a joke at this point. Jokes should make us happy!
This is what hurts the most, people just dont know the PvP nerfs we are dogpiled with.
death strike is a blood thing and it was long time ago. they are not gonna change anything about it for pvp. our self heals are none existent . you only go full force . also grab a pocket healer
Then the whole design of the DK is not what it says on the tin! Be like asking every Paladin out there to stop using any and all significant self heals in combat. DK is supposed to be effectively a undead Paladin. Right at this point in time and for a long time now… Trolls, Blizzard and the elites whom hate the class have helped ruin it to such an extent now it’s been gutted of it’s identity and more or less put it on the back burner. Blizzard cannot balance a plate on a table these years. All they ever do is add/subtract the near same nerfs and buffs and abilities they did something with last expansion or a couple of ago. Just love avoiding the fact they could really do with some class and spec overhauls. Instead of just borrowed power and band aid rubbish they cost effectively do all the while.

you poor noobs, raise pet and sac it, lichborne death coil, death strike, death pact. you cant be so stupid that you only use death strike alone and go cry when its not working! then I would also suggest you use your defensive correctly aswell. used correctly we can go toe to toe with rets any day. think hazzed have a good video on the matter. also use death strike correctly…
Sacrifice pet heals for 25% on a 2 min cool down, death strike is hella weak and costs lots to use, Licheborne is also in a cd . You cant compare our healing to a ret paladin who can easily outheal and dps us lol

Are you comparing 2 min CD skills with actual healing?
I ask again.
Are you comparing the following:
- Get 20 RP, sac pet on a 2 minutes cooldown for a 25% max hp heal or
- get max RP, pop Lichborne, use about 4 ~ 5 max DCs to heal for a maximum of 25k (70% of max HP) on a 2 min cooldown
with retri heals that heal 50% of max HP?
What game are you playing dude?

He is a troll , I would love to see him duel 5 ret paladins in a row and see how many he would win. Frost is a inside joke by devs at this point I had to sweat my butt off last night just to beat my friends ilvl 168 ret paladin with a junk blue 150 2hander in a M0 as a ilvl 200 dw frost. 5 % buff won’t even start whats required
Dont use hazzed as a source my dude, he bases his judgements on BG’s, saltwater potions and every trick in the world PvP book.
And how many GCDs does this waste by doing this? Whilst I can press word of
Glory once and go back to full Hp with only holy power restrictions.
Death Strike is so weak right now. It needs to either be re-designed or buffed at this point. Hopefully they will fix it in 9.1, as that’s when they’re doing the bigger changes to classes and specs.
This guy is a paladin main for sure.
