What could be causing this? Help me please! Already tried to remove cache and WTF and problem wasn’t solved. No nameplate addons installed.
This forum doesn’t allow me to insert images, but the debuff icons are about an inch above the actual nameplate.
100% addon issue, cut all your addons from interface folder, reset ui and try then.
Done deal, no effect.

Try to rename your WTF folder to WTFold and run the game, it should reset all your addon settings, maybe it will help you.
I tried to do this for Interface, Cache and WTF. No changes.
It has to be an addon, there is no in-game setting that let’s you set buffs/debuffs in any way different than normal.
I am aware of this, otherwise I wouldn’t be raising a thread. However, if none of the datafile resets helps it, what is there to do?
I also tried installing an AddOn that lets you browse through all of the CVars, and set them all to default values (regarding nameplates) but that didn’t help either.
They are part of default Blizzard UI and I don’t think you can just disable the debuff display. You can disable the name bars entirely though in the Interface -> Names if I remember right.
Not my question. The debuffs arent supposed to be that high when compared to the actual nameplate. I’d like for them to return back closer to the nameplate itself
