Decline of population in sod phase 2

After checking pop on ironforge it says there is 25k players on most popular EU server, LF.
This is not looking good folks, next phase is 40-50 and it’s most likely be worst phase. And also we have 3 more months of this so probly 70% existing players will leave

Blizzard is making people quit before they get bored of the game, so dont worry about that, they runing their own game to the ground at a steady pace.

Yeah well they have really tried their hardest to piss everyone off multiple times. Its almost as if they are wanting to destroy warcraft as an ip and discredit themselves as game devs.

Truely an embarassing effort, i would have expected more from 1st year students doing a collaboratove project in all honesty.

Just really really bad at making games now aint ya blizz.

Have you looked at the state of the raid?

People who have static raids in guilds etc will say “Oh the raid is too easy” and will tell everyone else to just “get a guild”

But the truth is that most people just want a quick raid like BFD, Jump in, kill, done.

But they have turned the game so sweaty & Difficult with this gnomer raid that Melee classes are almost completely ignored by recruiters.

Ofc people will leave when they make the game too hard or time consuming to just jump in and do the content

if u say gnomeregan is not easy then i dont know what to say…

He does have a point tbh. Most people don’t want to deal with mechanics, they want target dummy bosses and easy loot. Quick in and out, get your gear, log out until next raid. Any time the content contains the least bit of difficulty raiding numbers plummet. And it doesn’t even have to be hard by any objective measure. Having to deal with the most basic of mechanics such as move out of bad thing or no hit boss are enough for many to not want to do it anymore.

then they can stay in bfd?

Been in 3 PuG groups so far.

2 raids could not clear the council fight and disbanded, 1 of those 2 had 7 wipes on electro boss and 3 alive when first trogg boss died.

1 cleared it with Minor difficulty. (But this raid was Min/maxed as much as possible, Priest healer, shadow, melee hunter the whole package)

You overestimate PuG peoples capabilities.

It’s not about difficulty. WoW mechanics are generally not difficult, they are scripted. Players aren’t avoiding difficulty or they would avoid pvp entirely, what they are avoiding is needing to go to wowhead/youtube for every boss, the spec/class gatekeeping, all of which is just a pain when really the only reason we raid is for loot. We want to blast through content, get loot and then use it in the open world and pvp.

then dont pug? 10 man its easy to make a guild

It’s the same thing. Most things are easy when you know how to do them, but they can be quite difficult when you have no idea.

I see that you are not capable of understanding or “get it”.

There is no need for me to explain further, You just can’t get what i am saying with your current mindset

There’s nothing to do outside Gnomeregan…

STV, is useless for some classes including me

Maybe you should try playing a useful class.

Ofc there is a abig decline. No matter how much you want to defend Blizzard and their SoD team, they are doing a horrible job. They really are. Imlpementing stuff without giving it a 2nd thought, or testing it. Listening way too much to cry babies, without looking at facts and numbers.
If they did look at that, the game wouldne be in this state as it is  Thats for sure.

Just take the game for what it is. Dont force yourself to play something you dislike = Decline in subscription.

Its a good thing tho, perhaps they will wake up and not open P3 until its actually rdy.

They need to stop only doing 1 hotfix per week.

We need it faster.

Some classes can’t wait for weeks to get their “fixes”, this will make those people quit.
