Declining solo rbgs

Hi everyone,

I want to bring up a subject about an annoying issue regarding solo rbg. As we have all noticed there are way too many declines. This issue is greatly affecting our gameplay. When a battleground is ready we as customers expect it to be ready to enter, and not to be delayed and lose our time because someone doesnt accept for the 10th time.

A deserter has been suggested many times from what I have observed.
However I do have another suggestion that might be better.

*If the player declines when queue pops they lose a certain amount of rating.

If blizzard implements this it will be less declines. At the moment it has become extremely annoying that some slobs can toy with our time. A big deserter for those decliners or a loss to rating has to be implemented by Blizzard. It is necessary.

And if you accept you gain rating already?

They should make it like skirmish where if you miss the que pop, you get a debuff which increases each time you miss it.

the accept time is so godamn short… if someone declines one, its bound to q pop in the next minute, there were instances where i wanted to leave the pc for 1 minute to grab a cup of cofee and i sat there through another 4-5 declines…

accept time should be slightly longer…

Is that how mafia works?

What do you care? You’re always AFK in solo RBGs.

It happens 90% of pops and it’s bloody annoying.

But I’m not sure it’s fair to punish. It’s a tough call.

Most People dont decline intentionally, they are afk or alt-tab, its also not the same person declining :))) After you miss the queue you are out of it.RBG Blitz ques are relatively short especially in the later afternoon and evenings.

They are intentionally declining. They know what they qued for and are aware they are in que but still choose to be afk. Thats being careless and it affects our gameplay by delaying BGs. They wouldnt move anywhere if there would be consequences for declining.

I will ask you a question. Do you think there would be be less declines if there is a harsh penalty for it, or would the amount of declines stay the same? Use logic.

You’re overthinking too much, and just being paranoid.

You must either be running around in circles until queue pops or just “dead stare” the monitor :)))

I queue and altab if I have nothing to do in the game and queue is 5+min.

The one missing the queue is losing most of the time because he has to re que.

i agree 90% is not intentional declining

I am on my disc priest right now and not accepting when que pops. Then I que again and just repeat while I am watching a movie for 2 hours straight. I did the same in solo shuffle the two first seasons just for fun. So yes what I am doing is a proof people do it intentionally 90% of the times.

People that do this stuff too many times should result in a permanent account closure.

So you’re basically complaining about people declining the queue pop but you are doing it as well? :upside_down_face:

Gotcha.

Why not just an increasing lockout penalty that prevents you from queuing?
Missed it once because you were distracted or went to the restroom at just the wrong moment? 3 minutes lockout.

Twice in a row? 10 minutes,

then 30 min and so on up to a whole day and with possible account bans.
From the third time onwards, it means you are doing it deliberately to mess with players and you should be punished.

Having to accept 3 invites while waiting for the infamous player 16 is really annoying.

Actually you have some good points. The que system needs some form of penalty implemented to straighten up players. When they know there are consequences they are less likely to go to toilet, take a drink or whatever while they are qued.

I also have another suggestion I would like to add to our discussion. If the player declines too many times the player is locked from that mode they misused for the rest of the season.

*Account ban
*Season ban
*Rating loss
*Deserter

Now we have 4 types of different penalties. Which one do you think will work the best?

It should be real easy.
Everyone that accepted should be ported in with a pregame going till every spot is filled.

When all spots are filled, Ready Check > Start Game > Rumble!

yo ppl r crazy, the q pop is literal 15 seconds… burh ive had it miss a few times because i went to grab a drink, or I ACCEPTED IT, and i went to grab a drink and and by the time i came back, someone declined, and qpopped again and i missed it…
i understand how frustrating it is when ppl miss it and miss it and miss it and miss it but please, lets fight to make the accept timer slightly longer before “permabanning people for not accepting queue” jesus im the first persont hat cannot wait to jump, in and play the match but ive missed the queue timer a few time this week because of how short it is, sometimes its so fast that if im alt tabbed and i alt tab in wow, press accept and someone declines i wont even notice it q popped again while im typing anything on discord and miss it again…

Terrible suggestion. Once it pops even if it is declain, it pops again within seconds until it fills.

People have a right to be afk when they are out in the world for whatever reason. I doubt anyone does it on purpose just to troll.
