I am starting to believe this rare either doesn’t exist or is simply bugged.
I’ve camped Nazjatar for a total of 18 hours now. One sitting being 10 hours straight. I have never, ever seen this rare pop up.
It’s the last one I need in order to get the meta achievement from Nazjatar. I read somewhere on wowhead it has between a 6-8 hrs spawntimer. That would mean I should’ve seen it by now…
Is this rare truly bugged? It’s getting annoying camping a rare spawn for this long
It exists. I have it on my hunter. Just a long respawn time and it dies allot faster now. If i remember correctly, it has multiple spawn places. You might have been standing in 1 spot and someone just outside your range killed it.
Isn’t this rare affected by killing other rays in the area, meaning it’s forcespawned. I recall some theories like this.
Can’t tell you for sure though - I remember encountering it many times in SL when I was looking for Soundless, didn’t visit Nazjatar once since June 2021 when I got the glider mount so I’m not 100% sure. Camping for multiple hours straight is not really the best strategy though - I remember Nazjatar had alot of phasing issues.
Try parking your toon there or just go there in less traffic hours. When I farm rares, I usually do it in early morning (I’m an early bird). Also try switching WM OFF / WM ON. When farming Soundless, I got him way more frequently with WM on. Majority of vanity collectors are WM OFF.
Nah, people reporting that just got very lucky. I’ve gone crazy because of boredom and killed a load of rays. I mean, if Deepglider refuses to show itself, all of its brothers and sisters will be purged.
Can confirm it does not affect the spawn at all.
