I still have to do Korthia ( even with nerfed rep it’s still extremely slow)
I still have to get domination sockets and armor
I still have to do my covenant campaign to unlock Korthia
I still have to upgrade those domination shards
And many minor or major things i do forget cuz i’m kinda frustrated.
I do really miss the times when you could just equip the gear. Even Legion with all those artifact power stuff wasn’t this bad to catch up. This is just too much.
Edit : Realized i forgot one of the worst parts and don’t want to not mention it

I have 16 chars at 60 and depending on content you want to do you really do not need all that unless you want to do m+ and mythic raid at a decent level.

You dont. You can skip all the way to korthia after “torghast” from the 9.0 campaign is marked as complete.

For me it would be:
- when I already went through the pain of shadowlands I want higher drop chance in m+
- Result would be ilvl 246 easy
What should be the only difference from a main going through the pain.

No you can’t .
You need to do your covenant stuff to fully unlock korthia , otherwise you are stuck with only introduction part ( 3/9) which doesn’t even give you half of the dailies.

Been there, done that.
There is a major difference between unlocking korthia and fully unlocking everything it offers. Also thats the Korthia campaign which i wouldnt call Covenant Campaign. However given youre not timegated on alts = /shrug.
Also if youre on an alt youre mainly only interested in how to get research anyway given the Conduits and Sockets. Which means rare hunting anyhow and screw the daily rng.

How are you not calling that Covenant campaing? Renown wise i should be able to get up to 5/9 today but it only offered me 3/9 till i complete covenant campaing. Why am i forced to do those stuff again?
Also like i said why farming legendary recipes , conduits are still a thing? They could easily make a token which has reasonable valor or research price which i could send to my alt , same goes for domination gems.
Because everyone has the same quests regardless of ones chosen covenant. And the covenants themselves play a significantly lower role compared to 9.0 and its now more key npcs playing a role.
Because not EVERYTHING is handed on a silver platter.
Legendary recipes are a joke to farm. If you cant even farm that then please quit. The only ones i can sort of understand are the ones from Nathria.
Conduits are terrible in general but on alts you have instant access to 252 tokens if you want to farm them if your main is tier 6.
Research is not needed because your alt can buy Sockets and Conduits so no point farming on main. Embers for Gems i agree.

Stop defending these abomination system on top of the system stuff to me.
I’m not expecting just equipping gear to be raid ready but also even legion or bfa 8.3 wasn’t this tedious to get your alt ready.
Yes they aren’t but also they shouldn’t come inside the toilet seat.
Then tell me why they cancel covenant campaing skip in the last minute? I did that thing 7 times already.

You get 3 dailies anyways doing part 4 adds 1 or 2 extra depending on the day so it is infact more than half the dailies if you do the logical maths.

Yes even counting cloak wasn’t this bad.
Wasn’t a thing in 8.3
I do agree about this one but still there was a proper vendor at least in .5
Visions shouldn’t be seperated from cloak and like i said cloak wasn’t that bad.
Adding what you forgot ,
Essences : Which wasn’t also good but at least you could get what you care via vendor.
Also not saying they were super alt friendly patches you are taking it out of context. What i’m saying is even those patches were better then this abomination.

i dont even use a legendary, it was so complex to do that i just gave up. 227 ilvl.
you can skip campaign and just go straight to korthia.
upgrading shards us very cheap and easy.
i get what you mean, i wish legendarys was easier and there wasnt so many things to upgrade with so many currencys. hey ho.

You can skip korthia, theres no reason to do anything there except for 2% b00st which is meaningless if u plan to play alts ( and collectibles ofc )

You can skip, you only need the storyline to unlock legendary recipes if i remember right, or maybe it was renown 
Mine are greens from season 1 :')
All im saying is if you need every single little thing to be 100% perfect, then playing alts competetively isn’t really for you

You’re not unlocking korthia if you have stuff that can’t be unlocked.
Alt friendly is when difference between freshly dinged and top decked player is only stats from gear.
