I actually find it annoying in the world when I see a nameplate, Im looking for horde to kill, and a void elf looks like a blood elf. You get killed anyway, but it doesnt count toward my weekly. XD

I heard there is a Discord server made entirely to harass high elf fans on the US forums mainly. Apparently they doxxed a few high elf fans, and something about a death wish I think I recall. Some people really take it too far. I wish the moderation team would do something about these people. Not sure they can do anything though if all is happening in Discord.
It wasn’t “hijacked”. The thread was used by one of the blues to announce new customizations for both Nightborne AND Void Elves, so naturally void elf fans communicated with the blue there about what they wanted.

I believe it. Forums was a crazy place, and still is…. But it was much crazier back then.
One of the fun things about being a high elf fan back in the days is getting death threats and insults over a hair color.

There is/was a discord but it wasnt for harassment. It was no different than the high elf fans one, only with the intent of not changing void elves or taking away uniqueness from blood elves.
It was actually the other way around. Members of the anti high elf discord were getting doxxed by high elf fans. (Although i dont recall any hardcore doxxing like actual addresses or things like that)
This bit is true and not true.
Someone on the discord was venting in what they believed was a private chat in the disord.
However a high elf fan had joined the discord under false pretenses and was in fact just spying on people.
They decided to screen shot and share.
So the death wish was never meant to be seen by anyone other than their friends.
High elf fans have a simple goal. They want everything the blood elves have minus the alignment to the Horde. I wonder when they will demand that Blizzard gives them Silvermoon.
Not true. Well… kinda true, but not at the same time.
See; there are these NPC’s on the alliance side called “high elves” who can be found in found Stormwind, Theramore, Boralus, Outland, Hinterlands, Plaguelands, Pandaria, Northerend, Dalaran, and even Darkmoon faire.
They have been active helping the alliance every expansion except WOD. They were even used during the shadowlands pre-patch event to teleport alliance players back to Stormwind. One of the most active groups is the silver covenant
If High elves were stopped being used in the lore over and over and over again every expansion, the high elf demand would’ve decreased.
Blizzard even added High elf NPC’s in Stormwind during legion expansion to give a tour to of the city to the void elf race. LMAO
I ain’t calling bias. I am explaining where the obsession of high elf fans comes from with things that the blood elves currently have. That is all. But sure, accuse me of things that never were said.

Void Elves & Light forge draenei should have never been created. Their customizations must have been part of the existing two races from the start.

this apllies to most allied races.
Lightforged are draenei who are even more light based
mechagnomes are gnomes who are more…technological
and Highmountain have moose antlers…so, yeah.
the only unique allied race might have been the Vulpera and Zanda. Vulpera cannot be added to Goblins, as they are too different

I agree with you. In my opinion the whole allied race is a failed concept. It should have been something like the Vulpera and Night born. Using the same rig but it is not an existing race.

Buth the zandalari like the Mag’har could have been a Troll “tribal” costumization
The Vulpera are the only true “race” and now the Dracthyr

true true. i totally support a tribe selection for trolls. i mean… they can be sand trolls, and these are enemies of the horde
but we cannot be forrest trolls (revantusk) who are already allied with the horde. seems ridiculous
i always say this. Vulpera dont deserve the hate, they are the most unique allied race. unfortunatly they just have a bad furry reputation, same with most animal races like the panda and worgen in the past.
Blood elves, Nightborne and Zandalari. Don’t care about Darkspear since they are a backwater tribe with no lore. Lost interest of Orcs in WoD.
