Kill Command doesn’t fit within Survival hunter. Survival hunter is not a melee BM. Besides, the animation does not feel fluid. It throws you out of the loop pressing melee abilities, and constantly pointing towards the boss. Since Legion, the devs keep changing survival, it feels like they are throwing random abilities that kind of fit on the wall and see what kind of sticks. During legion most abilities were melee, making it actually feel more fluid, more satisfying. Why do you think nobody plays survival hunter? It does not FEEL good to play. The devs need to sit together and really think which direction Survival needs to go in thematics, feel, gameplay & visuals. People play other melee classes because these classes have stood by their theme and their gameplay and feel nice to play.

I kinda agree with you, Legion survival was best for hunter melee. Personally i think there should be a talent that replaces kill command that was taken from Beast master with Melee skill.
Though… my thoughts on it more, maybe there should be a path that is melee focuses on hunter that has choice to take lonewolf to embrace the lone hunter or double down on companion (Where kill command should go instead…) and third path beening the trap master.
3 paths in survival tree, that is my suggestion.
- Melee focused hunter, with lone wolf.
- Companion with melee… where kill command should go.
- Trap and grenade master.
