Yeah, I’ll give you that, I miss Suramar, it is actually one of my favourite places in the game. But you know what’s more sad? A Blood Elf saying “y’all”.
One is to give things to players
The other is to take things away from players
Theyre not really comparable
Yes, and complaining to undo it won’t work for one reason and one reason only: if you complain until they are removed, they will complain until they are added back in. And so the cycle repeats.
Or, Blizzard ignores the one whiny dude on the forum and just leaves Void Elves in so the cycle never begins in the first place.
well the first void elf alleria, did pretty much look like a high elf/blood elf also, so it is perfectly fine they look the same.
I know blizzard call her one but I’ve never considered her one as she underwent a completely different process.
Also its not unusual for racial leaders to look different to the rest of their race.
In fact its more normal that they don’t look the same.
So for me personally saying there was 1 singular void elf with non void skin is not a good enough excuse to justify ripping the void right out of void elves
Alleria swallowed an entire naaru.
y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all y’all
The pandaren are available to both factions despite it making no sense (yeah sure, a small, tight-knit community split in half in order to kill each other because their philosophies differ, makes total sense /s), but the blood elves being available to both factions with different customizations is suddenly a big deal. Why?
Because it has the potential to undo all efforts towards faction balance Blizzard has made since TBC. Blood elves are the only reason the horde has an active community. It was a dead faction prior to adding blood elves. Sharing the model will bring nothing but disaster.
To be fair I do hate that pandaren are on both factions and wish they had never been a horde option.
But like with the void elf skin tones its done
There’s no future to be had digging in the salt mines.
So? The Blood Elves have always been a fractured people after Quel’Thalas was razed. They actually fit the bill of race to be played on both factions better than the Pandaren.
They could have added High Elves on one side and Blood Elves on the other from the start.
Would have been a heck of a lot interesting to have that kind of civil war scenario instead of the pandas that just went “I like blue” while the others go “I like red.”
Then they aren’t really enemies but they kill each other all the time anyway.
Though I’d rather have seen High Elves be their own thing, and they could have corrected the Void Elf plothole and kept them as Voidy elves.
But I have little complaints about normal skin tones for Void Elves, as long as they don’t just keep making them less Voidy whenever Allied Races get their customizations expanded upon.
So I believe that in a game with a faction divide, stuff like this is important
I am not salty. I am at war. With you and every other blueberry. I will not be silenced for as long as you are playable.
What you are is melodramatic
Philosophical differences then…
I think the faction divide is outdated, pointless and more a hindrance than a benefit these days.
You are a salt mine all on your own.
Don’t think so, because the Horde now offers a lot more than the Alliance in terms of gameplay and the player pool. Adding high elves won’t suddenly make half the blood elf players switch factions and abandon their guilds and friends.
Why? The void elves are one of the biggest and most nonsensical lore jokes this franchise has ever had, and that’s quite an achievement in itself. The Alliance should’ve just gotten the high elves in the first place.
bruh
I remember when people said that the Horde would die when Void Elves were released
It didnt
And when they got new skins
It didn’t.
Most Blood Elves are also Horde fans.
Also Horde uh was not a dead faction in the slightest.
Not true!
The twice a week danceoff under Erevien’s window in front of Silvermoon is a long journey!
Are you sure about that? Because Void Elves have been around for a while now and last I checked, Horde was still doing juuuust fine. If Void Elves were going to cause mass migration to the Alliance, why hasn’t it happened since Void Elves already came out?
Wait what?
