Delve keys

You can outgrow runed crests without hero track items. All you have to do is actually cap runed crests, something that will be significantly easier to do in S2 with increased runed drops in higher delves. It happens in week 4-5.

Champ 8/8, hero 4/6, or runed crafted item on every slot requires 4-5 weeks of crests. At which point you can trade up for gilded.

You want infinitely farmable gilded crests and myth track gear, ask blizzard to make solo content difficulty enough to warrant it.

Then ask for delves to be harder or new types of harder solo content. Things with actual DPS checks or mechanical complexity.

You touted for all of Dragonflight that all you wanted was a solo progression to gradually keep increasing your ilvl as the tier went on. Now you have that and surprising nobody you want more, and you don’t want the content to be any more difficult to get it either.

That’s not what I enjoy.

Then enjoy ilvl progression that correlates with the difficulty of content you enjoy? You didn’t even get as strong as the content you have been asking for allows this season.

I’d rather just be able to enjoy the game in the way I like (relaxed and fun) and still have the progress I desire. I don’t want to adhere to rules that I don’t feel support my reasons for playing games.

So do relaxed and fun content and get relaxed and fun ilvl.

So why the 18% buff dmg/ healing ?? and also 15% health reduction on bosses since liquid kill…or the nerf on abilities so much it is like heroic …

Yes:D your right ^^

Look; I get where you are coming from. I just don’t agree with that mindset.
It’s outdated and rigid in a way that I feel hampers fun in WoW.

As I’ve said in another thread: These kind of things combined with new features that I don’t want (DRIVE) are really putting a damper on my enthusiasm for 11.1. So much so that I’m contemplating letting my sub lapse in march. I’m just not sure I’m going to have fun in that patch. And the only way to show Blizzard that I don’t like their choices, is by not paying them for it.

Because blizzard aims mythic raiding at an audience with a broader level of performance than just the best players in the entire world. Even still, that level is significantly above where delve difficulty ends. And for the record I think the 18% raid buff is a bit out of hand.

Delve T11s are not hard enough to warrant the level of reward you want from them. So instead of asking the bar to be brought down, why not ask for more opportunity to raise the bar to where it is in other content and clear it?

Because that is not FUN.
Bringing the bar down = fun.

And that has been proven in the past.
M+'s most succesful popular seasons were those that were EASY.
For instance.

Most people don’t want a hard challenge.
They want just barely enough of a challenge to make them feel good about themselves accomplishing it. And that’s all.

C’mon mate i remember always the nerfs on raid since Mop…(or wotlk ? )

I didn’t say it’s hard but is way time consume with others …

Example is m+ i can farm 14-18 runed crests every 20 min with my main …(even gilded )
i farm 2 runed every 15- 20 min on delves unless i have some easy with no rp that goes below 15 minutes .

And don’t tell me that m+4 to m+9 is hard …

Delves are having their runed crest yield buffed significantly in season 2.

Hard for me or you? No. Harder than delves as they are? Absolutely.

Not enough.
18 crests per week = 1 upgrade. 1 single upgrade.
With those 3 extra crests left over resulting in 1 single extra upgrade after 5 weeks!

That’s so stingy it’s not even funny.
It’s insulting, really.

You repeatedly said in DF that wasn’t what you wanted, so were you just lying? You said you wanted a source of the second highest crest (At the time Wyrm) from some type of solo content, you got that. Now you want more of them, and the highest level of crest, and more of them from that same difficulty.

It really is give an inch take a mile with you.

What did I say I didn’t want specifically?
Because I don’t recall ever making such claims about ‘lowering the bar’.
So I’d like to know what you claim I said.

You asked for sources of wyrm crests from solo / world content (Not even repeatable), I even remember agreeing with you. Now you have those and you wanted gilded, and now you have that you want more gilded and from less difficult content.

Does it ever end?

Yes.

Look: If we didn’t get hero gear from delves, I wouldn’t be asking for gilded crests.
But since we are; it felt bad in s1 when upgrading that gear was a real big slow chore.

I don’t really mind slow, but it was TOO slow (case in point: I’m still nowhere near being done upgrading all my hero gear).

Now in season 2 we get our reliable gilded crests sources through delves; which is cool. But they limit it to such a stupid level that it feels bad again.

I just want progression that feels well balanced. That feels fun.
Not timegated to a stupidly slow point.

Would YOU be happy with 1 single upgrade for 1 single piece of gear per week?

If it was all anyone was getting, yes. If it was all I could get from the content I chose to do? No, but I’d be asking why that content awards what it does and for more things I could be doing to achieve my goals, instead of having things brought down to the level I was comfortable even if it wasn’t the level those awards are typically placed at.

I don’t see maxing out hero gear as an expectation until I’m doing content difficult enough to consistently award repeatable sources of gilded crests. If you don’t want to do content that difficult I don’t see why you have that expectation.

Also is 36 gilded a week really that slow when you have only 32 upgrades to do to be completely maxed out on hero track.

But it’s not.

That’s exactly what I did and you just shoved that aside as if that’s normal - which it REALLY shouldn’t be:

And …

Well, that’s not how I look at a game. A game is to enjoy and relax and have fun.
That is what a game needs to do. And forcing me to go and play at a level where it is no longer relaxing and fun and something I enjoy, is NOT a solution.
So lowering the bar IS.

And lowering the bar is GOOD. Because most people don’t like a hard challenge, as I said earlier. The proof is there.

Well I disagree. When I get given gear, I expect to be able to upgrade it fully.
Otherwise it feels like I’m being given half a reward and that’s just stupid.

It’s not 36 gilded a week.
It’s 18 from gilded stash - requires level 11 delves by the way.
Then it’s a maximum of 3 more from an RNG drop - it might NOT drop. And if it does: it’s limited to 1 drop per week (it’s not currently limited in such a way, but they said that it will be in s2).

So even IF you calculate those in, which takes you to 21 crests, that’s nowhere near the 36 you’re claiming.

Sure, late in the season you’re going to get 15 extra from the vault (by exchanging the 45 runed you get), but for the first two months or so (or longer if you get unlucky), you’re going to pick hero gear from the vault and NOT coins. You wouldn’t even be ABLE to exchange them either, because most likely not every slot will be high enough yet.

So claiming those 15 extra are part of the weekly schedule is very disingenuous.

18 from stash
3 from map (I hope the blp is enough that this is consistently within the first 5~ delves)
15 from conversion.

Increased runed drops rates mean capping from runed is more realistic, it takes 4-6 weeks of capping runed to outgrow them and unlock gilded trading. (even without good vault rng)

Delves offer less gilded because they’re easier content than the content that offers more / repeatable sources of gilded crests.
