Let me preface this by saying some really positive changes have been made or announced to be made following player feedback. Let Brann be one of them.
Just scrap him he really is such a hinderance and makes delves a painful babysitting chore while he throws abilities out randomly like a panicked carbot character.
without brann healing me it would be IMPOSSIBLE to finish delves level 8 bountiful. just look at waxface. 2 odd mill damage + 4 mil damage every 15 secs or so + his melee attacks . literally impossible without a lot of healing.
