Delves are bad

30 minutes playing smart and using cc etc to get to the last boss of a delve, only for it to hit you for 40% of your hp each hit and apply dots etc. whilst being immune to all slows stuns etc. Completely unkillable, thanks for wasting my time.

Not come across a boss there thats unkillable. Try being less bad. If you want better advice be more constructive.

There isn’t much context to be had here. I’m sure i’m wrong, but with what is written, then you may have stopped playing smart just every boss attempt?

They are amazing. Just do them like majority aka in 5 Man groups. Then they are 5-20 minute zergs

There are so many people playing them on tanks that its easier for me to get in them as dps then as tank atm

Pretty hard to offer any sort of help or feedback without knowing which delve or what level it is. Maybe you’re doing tiers that are too high for your gear/skill?
Have you set Brann to being a healer? He throws 3 potions on the ground pretty often that you can run over and heal for like 2 million each, so when you get hit for half your HP, run over a potion to top yourself.

The lies we chose to tell ourselves.

My Hunter blazes through them, gearing up I ran BM cause BM pets are better at keeping aggro if you spec into some talents that make them cleave when you do certain abilities and made a macro that auto misdirects my main pet, most mobs in a +8 dont outdps mend pet and when they do you’ve got a dr for the pet and the pet has a dr for itself too

BM is super friendly for delves, cleared t8s with it at ilvl 570ish without trouble, once you hit rec. gear you can always switch back to survival, personally I prefer mm for delves even after the last changes, most groups melt in the volley window due to things like aimed shot, killshot and rapid fire ricochetting in the volley area but mm was a bit too squishy when I tried it back at ilvl 570

If your pet does die too fast put brann on healer, his heal pots heal your pet too if you pick them up but realistically as soon as you get the hang of keeping your pet alive (its a small dps sacrifice, my advice is always send the pet in first and misdirect and pre-mend pet while pulling)

delves are bad because they are boring and have 0 skill expression or difficulty that you can play around in any ways.

you either die from auto hits or you dont. there is nothing in between.
terrible design imo
