Delves were soloable on day 1 and grouping was trivial. The only mistake here was that grouping shouldn’t have been possible at all.
Groups destroyed lvl 8 within an hour or two of season launch, got gear with Keyes will get gear in the vault. That’s all it will be to end of season for players coming up and alts, just group play on mass. considering M+ and raids are the minority most will just group play delves; gear is better than heroic dungeons and a step to mythic raiding. it was designed with groups will mostly be group play and become a mess. solo players once again screwed,.

We had fun with friends, 1-3 player mini dungeons. 1 player is pretty challenging, 2 player is kinda easy, more than 2 is no challenge at all.
I would say it will remain an easy way to gear up alts.

Ah yeah, just tried T8 with a team of 5.
Talk about over tunned now.

I’ll bet you what you like most level 8 delves are being done in groups by a long way. most will just be in a group smash it use their keys get their vault, and it will become a mess kill delves for solo players. And most solo players can’t solo level 8 day one.

Did Blizzard boost Delves overnight? Because yesterday all I heard was how easy they were in a group?
T8 delves as a group is pretty much impossible right now. At least not within the death limit and not without reseting it 5 times.

T8 Delve equals to Mythic +7 - loot wise and should also difficulty wise to justify the loot.
Are you sure a group capable of doing +7 comfortably next week would struggle doing Delve T8 at the moment? I do not think so.
If Delve T8 at the moment cannot be done by a group struggling to time +3 next week, that is perfectly fine, because Delve T8 gives the same reward as timed +7.

Unless you’re implying that it can’t be cleared solo; why do you care that Delves can be done in a group?

Basically one shot the team before it even got past the first objective.

Info I got from fellow players is that with a good group comp, capable tank and healer Delves T8 are still doable even after the hotfix np.
With a setup that can do +12s next week, maybe.

Because they are, and will be designed around group content. yesterday’s update is only the beginning. I have social anxiety and ptsd, grouping is hard for me, i play by myself as most don’t understand it. I do lfr and dungeons when I can manage it. i just wanted something that was solo focused. Delves will not be it.

It is just an opinion of a few on the forums. Just because it is easier in a group than solo doesn’t mean that was its intention. People keep jabbering on about where it is easiest. The reality is that you have a feature that provides solo content.
As for balance, Blizz never get it right first time. What else did you expect?
But that’s how Blizzard sold Delves before the expansion got out -something exclusively for soloplayers (no group content was mentioned as far as I recall) so I do get the disappointment from some people.

you can play with 5 players so delves will have to be designed around them first. solo play will be at the bottom.
I know I got tied of slamming against them solo so cleared with a group… They are overtuned for some classes and the damage out put is amazing it went live lol… normal mobs hit like a truck nevermind elites.
What did they test on the PTR or even internal…
Sorry but the ppl I meet in HC’s wont be able to do delves lol… So as it stands who are delves for in Blizzards view.
