Well technically…there is a part of the casual audience who claims they’re good players, they just hate grouping and they wanted a sense of progression in solo content with high rewards and challenges.

I don’t think you understand what the point of delves is, beyond “sOLo GAmEPlay”. It’s also just intended as another endgame pillar for casual players, regardless of party size. Also, you’re playing an mmo, wether you are a solo player or a casual player are two majorly different things. The option of Solo play is definettely there but to expect it to be catered to beyond what delves are is shooting yourself in the foot. The only issue with delves atm is balancing that’s it, the actual design is fine.

Ah, you’ve seen a previously stated solo content marketed product turn into a group content after release that’s only other minor inspiration was torghast in a previous expansion that failed not because of size of group but because of lack of interest.

No it was billed as being completed solo at a standard pace, not that it would be the fastest. Also the word is flex content as it is not locked to a specifix amount of players.

Now you are being pedantic.
Raids & dungeons can not be soloed by everyone, so they are not Solo content.
Delves can be soloed by everyone, so they are Solo content.
Whether they can be done in a group or not is irrelevant, they can be done by ONE person, on their OWN, so they are solo content.

Right now, i would just take solo content, as delves isn’t it.
If they die and do low dps in HC… they have zero chance of doing delves… They are a DPS check can you dps the mobs faster than they damage you…
Why am I soloing it then? Yes, scaling is dumb and stupid at the moment for groups, but I’m still able to do a T9 pretty comfortably as a paladin solo. And T8 is the max reward as of now. Give me 4 set and 10+ ilevels and it’ll be even easier.
I don’t get people also losing their minds over not being able to clear a T11 on the first week of the season. It’s supposed to be the end game content for open world players.

Delves 8 can’t be soloed by everyone and it’s a fact not pedantic that many people have soloed raid bosses when current. I soloed dragon flight HC dungeons. Delves are not solo content they are group content designed around a group first that you can solo if you choose.
I’m almost certain EVERYONE can do T8 if they use Brann’s right abilities and use their brain. Half of these people complaining are literally in 571ilevel gear. Acting surprised they get their teeth smashed out when the ilevel recommendation is far, far higher.

No, it was sold as solo content, it just so happens it’s bugged/unfinished. I’m sure they’ll fix the scaling soon as it’s obviously out of whack.
And yes, it is primarily solo content. Blizzard literally said that. But I agree it’s stupid that we have to even put up with the scaling issues to begin with.
Does casual = bad? I’m casual. I barely play the game outside of the first few weeks of the expansion, then I hop ship. I am casual.
