Okay, so. ALL delves give progress towards the Delver’s Guide/Journey, yes? All it requires is to open a chest at the end of the delve. However, as many of them as I did, both bountiful and normal ones, up to tier 5, I got no progress at all. What’s going on? Is it a bug? Will it be fixed?
I have this same problem, I opened a ticket and they told me to submit a bug report , and that they a re unaware of anyone else having this issue…
To add to this, My journey is stuck just before the Zeppelin schematic node, 4187 of 4200 progress.
At least we are not alone now. I am not getting undercoin either.
Did your journal progress at all yet?

There appears to be hidden weekly cap on delver’s journey progress so if you’ve done a lot of (well into double figures) you may just have hit the cap.
EDIT it you can check if you have hit the cap by running this script:
/run print(C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(3143).maxQuantity-C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(3143).quantity…" remaining bountiful delves with Delver’s jouney progress.")
Oh dear… Any source for this? It does seem to be the case
I just updated my post with a script to check the cap.
Currency ID 3143 - is, according to the in game addon API, called " 11.0 Delves - Bountiful Tracker - Delver’s Journey Cap" and appears to do exactly what it’s name suggests.
Hey there,
As some have discovered already there is indeed an intended cap for how quickly you can progress on your Delver’s Journey.
As Customer Support we can’t really share any details beyond that, but no doubt the wider community will be able to compare notes and figure out the specifics without too much trouble.
Tyrskorn,
So they gave us a 25% gain to journey progress and undercoin with a weekend event - but there’s a cap. Plus we are not allowed to know what it is. So we now just dont get undercoin or progress? I hope this is still all just a bug and you are not correct!
Also, sorry to sound like a broken record here but a friend is not having this issue…
Okay, so, there is a fine line between “intended cap” and slow progress and no progress at all. I was getting the latter. Regardless of whether I was doing one delve, or ten. And why, exactly, is it not possible to share the details? Shouldn’t people be allowed to know what they can do in terms of gameplay during a week? How many delves they need and whatnot? Why the secrecy?
Regardless of that, seems this week worked fine, although the Delver’s Journey gains still seem to pop up randomly, sometimes from killing the final boss of the delve, sometimes from opening a chest, it’s never exactly a certainty as to how it is obtained. But at least it works, I guess.
Refusing to share information could simply be a diplomatic way of saying they have no clue at all how things should be working in first place. I wouldn’t be surprised because both internal and external communication appears to be almost nonexistent.
On the topic of Delves, I can only predict that when by the time Brann gets to level 57, his xp per level will unexpectedly double or triple once again, because someone may be thinking that handing out a 3% power buff to a useless follower a little too soon (during this calendar year) might break the game.
So update. As of yesterday and this morning, I am getting progress and coin from the 4 Bountiful delves as expected. Obv fixed behind the scenes, but just glad its now working.
Have not yet reached my weekly delve cap (4x7) and for the last few days entering bountiful delves after a fresh daily reset occasionally shows only a green chest as a reward. Follower xp and other stuff should also be showing but it isn’t.
Despite this, one delve did grant 54k bonus but another one did not. You don’t post any hotfix notes but after two weeks stuff like this shouldn’t keep breaking on its own without stealth adjustments so what is actually changing because we still have mobs falling through the ground in Underkeep and Sinkhole, bricking your run. Also half of Curios do not function or scale as intended.
