Make incentives for people to do pvp delves in warwithin, make it so you can cap vault 3x to 5x as fast doing pvp delves, and let us invade other players delves to stop them from finishing it just like darksouls red invaders.
And before pve players come and disagree with me, all i’m gonna say is you are gonna get bored of delves 2 weeks in and complain that there is no content.
So… You want me to ignore a major new world content feature while I’ve been a world content player for the majority of my time in WoW? Sounds complete reasonable.
No. It’s a bad idea.
Making a PvE feature better/faster when you’re PvP enabled is STUPID.
Warmode is also STUPID as it has been implemented. It should have never received any PvE incentives.
PVP players want to hijack other content because they aren’t good enough for arenas or battlegrounds. Also, how would Delves be PVP when they are technically instanced zones? If you allowed PVP, people wouldn’t do delves because no one wants the risk of a PVP player or an overpowered raider stealing delve rewards or making it impossible to compete, ruining their game experience. If people wanted PVP, they would do it, but they don’t, not because it’s the open world but because it’s trash.
For you the pve will still probably be faster, because if you come to warmode you will be engaged in pvp combat, so pvp delves are just more content for people who like pvp.
Then you will have the same issue EverQuest had when raiding was open-world, i.e. no one did it because it was a waste of time and awful. There was a reason why they removed most activities from the open world, to begin with, and that was open-world pvp. There is a reason why pvp is optional. If you want to take the least committed player base and ground stomp them into nothing because you can’t do solo queue, they will leave.
There is no point in having PVP content for people who hate it to make a tiny group of players happy because they can’t do solo queue.
There is an incentive called fun. They don’t need to add something players can already do which is PVP into the mix to satisfy a group of players who don’t want to do it to begin with.
