No, I’m really not. PvP version certainly wouldn’t entice me either, I don’t like PvP full stop. I’m really over the moon they are making outdoor content a 4th end game pillar.
Now I am fine if there is a PvP version that you opt-in, I know that you all want more arenas/bgs/whatever but I do wonder who would try to do a delve when other people are going to attack them? I also don’t think it would work as mentioned above, it’s instanced and you’d have to queue up and fight for the rewards like PvP Islands or something.
Still the biggest incentive to farm islands for neck ilvl was at the start of BfA when it actually mattered the most to unlock new rings, and your pvp islands were just as dead.
You must realise pvp is just that unpopular among larger relevant audience.
Instead of forcing someone to play against you for some incentives why wont you suggest how to make it actually non dead and enjoyable for the most?
Forcing people to use ground mounts and farm rep, AP were both resented and now removed from obligatory activities for that reason.
And here you come up with new bad idea, but hope streamers will get you there?
Don’t you see it is a bit naive in current year?
Yes. And you don’t share this with others, unless you’re queueing for up to 5 players (like a dungeon - except that there’s no roles like tank or healer). Delves are instanced.
Not at all.
If he had asked for optional PvP versions of delves, as is, I would have been fine with it. But he asked for EXTRAS. More speeds, extra rewards, etc. That’s a big nono. That’s not a choice; that’s being greedy and wanting to turn PvP delves into a trap for non PvPers, just to live out some sick fantasies about ruining other people’s gameplay.
Let people turn pvp on that want to but don’t give them extra for doing it. That’s what wow has been doing wrong in some of the expansions. Making people feel forced to do stuff. Also 5x more stuff for turning on pvp is nuts.
If not enough people are doing pvp it’s because people don’t want to do it. Forcing it isn’t the answer.
Since when are gold and rep unique and only relevant for PvE? We still play the same game. I always liked to do both: I do PvE quickly in 2 weeks to KsHero, and then I usually play world PvP and BGs while raiding a bit on the side, if I feel like it. Everyone enjoys the game differently. There is nothing “stupid” about cross play and playing variety. Not everyone has PvP allergy, but for PvP-allergic people can also just turn it off.
