Delves: We NEED this change to Brann

Brann is the stereotypical huntard who essentially ruins every pull. Try to LOS pull something? Forget it. Brann will start nuking, making it nearly impossible to position the mobs where you want them. He’s a liability. We NEED some way to tell Brann to wait. A simple button to toggle him on and off would be enough. But without it, he is the worst hunter ever.

He will also aggro enemies in the middle of a AoE pool, making it impossible for melee players to attack them without taking heavy damage and risk dying.

And every time you die you get the message “Brann has left the instance group”.

It’s like they made him a parody of the worst kind of player… LOL

Then he reflects pretty much how hunters really are😄

He started to nuke mobs as well when I wanted to pull them close but at least I could taunt them to lure them to me in the fungal cavern instead of charging among the spores. Well, yes, let’s just say, Brann isn’t the sharpest tool on the shelf. :slightly_smiling_face:

Back in BC I got to play some real good hunter players. They knew how to misdirect, kite, chaintrap, do some insane damage, and some of them were taking Omen for a rather long walk. They kept their pets on passive in instances, they didn’t run out of ammo, they didn’t pull unless asked for, and especially, they didn’t mess with my corner pulls. And, of course, they always came fully buffed, enchanted and repaired for raids. And, sometimes they even saved the healer when things went south.

As a hunter, playing with Brann feels just fine.

He is also repetitive and bossy as all heck, and while telling you not to stand in stuff, he will smugly stand in it himself. We know he’s pocketing majority of the gold we get (for real, it’s a room full of treasure and he leaves us like 8 gold total!?).

Please give us a Brann mute toy like we got with the Niffin Sniffin mute toy. He’s so repetitive. Or at least give each voice line a cooldown before he can say it again!

He is a bit of a dim wit. Tonight he went a step further and managed to aggro a mob and somehow burry it below the floor where I couldn’t kill, whilst locking himself in combat with it. It meant I couldn’t loot the little XP curios until I jumped off the side to die and reset.

Yeah, you can’t say that after 2010 dude

I don’t understand why hes even interactable.

In the delve where you have to click on 3 beams to free a prisoner (and the beams respawn) you can spend half your time clicking on Brann just to watch beam after beam respawn.

Treasure / xp pot to click? Branns in the way.

It’s an easy fix. While you’re at it, sell some duct tape so I can shut him up. Put it in the cash shop, it’ll be money well spent.

They also need to change Brann so that he doesn’t use aoe effects when theres sapped enemies next to the ones you’re trying to kill.
Way too many times have I neatly sapped the annoying mob only for Brann to break the sap with his first attack.

In fairness thats startlingly realistic hunter behaviour.

I love Brann, he is derpy as hell and saves my life on a daily basis with his potions (when they don’t bug or get yeeted 20 yards away)

When Bran isnt sitting idle, he either does little to no damage/healing or pulls a Leeroy Jenkins in most delves. Whilst amusing as that can be, on a t8 or higher can be dangerous.
Can we have a button to remove him from the group or make his AI actually resemble a player the same way story mode does???

Pets/companions getting in the way has been a problem in wow since day one, and is the main reason I never enjoy classes with pets or quest where you have npcs with you.

Whatnow?
