Demo Warlock pet Weapon transmog - implement some Quality of Life

It’s nice that there’s a glyph for Demo Warlock pet (Felguard / Wrathguard), but it should really be baked into transmogrification.

  • too many weapons (now) come from other sources that are unobtainable for Warlock → like Trading Post… you can buy 2H Axe / Polearm there, but Warlock pet will never see it, as you don’t get the item, you get the appearance
  • retroactively you made some items that were obtainable unobtainable now, like Time Rifts vendor stuff → if you buy and learn appearance there, then you cannot anymore buy the item, thus your Warlock can’t buy the item for the pet
  • it absolutely can fill storage space and shares all negatives that Cataclysm Transmog system had
  • it would be nice quality of life, if you can simply choose it for pet in transmog tab

Sounds like the pet needs it’s own transmog wardrobe!

This seems like such specific details for a small part of the playerbase that it likely wont happen.

The glyphs are kind of the best way to give some customisations to pets without having to spent alot of developer time on small details.

Besides if warlocks get such customisations for their pets then other people also would like to design their own hunter pet with alot of customisation options for every single animal type.

Or shamans wanting to create their very own custom totem

You could argue the same for every single transmog item…
Like… why implement Transmog for Fury Warrior’s off hand weapon? Most players don’t play Fury warriors…

Lately Blizzard introduced a lot of customization for Warlock pets, Druid forms… and ye, I guess Shamans would like to customize elementals too now… why not… no issue with that.

Well that’s kinda bad analogy on your part. I don’t argue for new customization, but rather QoL for existing customization.

Nah, glyph of felguard just replaces weapon model, its not comparable, OP asks for this but with transmog menu.
And to be honest it seems logical because entire new customization for demons is replacement for glyphs

Nope. I just want to go back to being able to choose any spec for my Hunter pet. I’d be happy with that

Two things: the wrathguard should dual wield. Glyph should recognise legendary items.

I would finally be able to dust off my Sulfuras and Warglaives of Azzinoth I’ve been keeping in my warlock’s bank for well over a decade.

Considering the sheer variety in pet species and textures for hunters, i think allowing warlocks to customize the weapon their felguard (One of only 5 options for warlock pets) uses is peanuts.

It’s just such a shame, two thematically perfect weapons for a felguard to wield being added to trading post, but no way to make him actually use them, not even through glyphs (Glyph of the fel axe/spear)

Geez, maybe because player character models already are made so equipment can be used on them. But pets are not made to customize them like that

Again, they’re already and you can already equip those items on those pets.
It’s just that you have to have the item present in bag, rather than use it from appearance tab.

So your assumption relies that’s possibly because of reason that is obviously untrue.
