All races have warrior and Death Knight now right? Since all races will get Mages and rogues and Tauren Rogues are gunna be a thing, I wanted to broach the subject of more Race combinations for demon hunters in Dragonflight or a few patches down the line or even the next expansion. I really dont want to have to wait till they take Illadan of the shelf again before we get more DH races! Sooner rather than later! I made a post like this during Legion but cant find it from 2015.
Lore justifications, that I know of off the top of my head, for potential new race combos for the Demon Hunter class. I will edit and add changes when I think of more. I will rate 0 to 10 on Lore chances of adding DH and cool factor of this race as a DH to raid with or to RP with. All personal opinion. Comment your opinion below 
Alliance Demon hunters -
Stormwind Human - No lore 0/10. Cool factor - 1/10 - not a big human player so meh.
Kul Tiran Human - No lore 0/10. Cool factor - 3/10 - I mean a Kul Tiran DeathKnights looks okay but a demon hunter is far more agile. I know KT can be rogues and druids but I personally am not feeling it.
Dwarf (All clans) - No lore 0/10. Dwaves attune to the elements. If they added lore about some dwarf faction that fought of a Fel magic based invasion then maybe. Cool factor - 5/10.Dark Iron - See Dwarf.
Night Elf - Can be Demon Hunter already.
Gnome + Mechagnome - No lore 0/10. Cool factor negative one hundred out of ten.
Dreanai - Eredari! During Sargaras and the legions invasion of planets and the destruction of the Dreanai homeworld and the Legion fel corrupted Dreanai. These same Eredari were seen in WoD and of course Legion. It would be a simple task of adding a bit of lore like: ‘‘The Warden in the broken isle captured Eredari after the failure of the Legions invasion. They were put in the vault of the Wardens and now cause of <Insert world ending problem again eye roll> Maiev gives em a choice like belf/nelf were given in legion. Fight to defend the living or rot in a crystal stasis forever.’’ Bish bash bosh we get to play Eredari red skin Demon Hunters with the Dreanai body type!
Lore 10/10! Cool factor 11/10! RPing as a Eredari that has seen the error of their ways and maybe playing a really cranky version of a Draenai would be awesome. ‘‘I sacrificed everything! What have you given!’’ Make it happen blizzard!
Lightforged - Because they are Lightforged and pure from fel taint i think its very unlikely but to have the DH class on the dreanai body type look at Dreanai/Eredari above. Lore 0/10. Cool factor 0/10.
Void Elf - Blood elves can be demon hunters. Void elves are a break of faction from Blood elves… I think this is a no brainer VE’s should have DH simple. But what does Void magic and fel magic do when it clashes? Lore 8/10. Cool factor 10/10.
Worgen - During Sylvanas’s invasion of Gilneas it was mostly the Plague and not fel magic. Generally Worgen are resistant to shadow and corruption as they have the werewolf curse. Was there any lore during the Legion campaign in Varlajar zone for Worgen? I’ll look it up and comeback. Lore 0/10. Cool factor 10/10!
Pandaren - I think there’s a throw away line of pandaren Demon Hunters somewhere… It’s almost a meme or a joke just like the beginning of the race being an april fool’s joke.
I do think Panda’s would look silly bouncing around as demon hunters but eh. Lore 3/10 - Cool factor 5/10.
Horde Demon Hunters -
Orgrimmar Orc - Fel infused orcs have been a thing since forever. Demon Hunters doesnt seem like a big step away for the green skinned orcs. Lore 8/10. Cool factor 7/10.
Mag Har Orc - The pure untainted pure blood orc. To add fel to this race would ruin it’s theme and aesthetic. Like the Lightforged I don’t think there is much lore chance of this happening but hey there are Orgrimmar Orcs so at least DH on the Orc body type could be a thing! Lore 0/10. Cool factor 0/10.
Undead - Lore 1/10 - Cool factor - 1/10 - Not a big fan of the race meh.
Tauren - Lore 0/10 - Cool factor - 0/10. Tauren are nature / elements and spirits attuned. I dont think it would work but check out Highmountain tauren below!
Highmountain Tauren - FEL TOTEM! Lore 10/10 - Cool factor 11/10. The Fel Totem were everywhere in dailies and the legion artefact campaign and Mage Tower lore. Again like the Eredari how many Fel Totem Tauren were captured by the Wardens? Same thing. Offer them a choice and bish bash bosh baby! Fel Totem Demon Hunters on the Highmountain Tauren body rig! I once got a tauren body with the coin of many faces on my belf demon hunter. I can tell you running a dungeon as Tauren DH was hilarious. I keep flipping the coin whenever i can to replicate this…
Troll - Lore 1/10 - Cool factor - 5/100. I think there is some lore somewhere but cant remember it off the top of my head sorry.
Zandalari - Lore 6/10 - Cool factor 9/10. I think there is some lore on Zandalari demon hunters but i need to research and come back to this. I’ll edit this when i find out. RPing and playing as a Zanda DH would be awesome!
Blood Elf - Can be Demon Hunter already.
Nightbourne - Lore 10/10. Cool Factor 10/10. There were plenty of fel infused nightbourne running around during Legion and Suramar city. How many of these Felbourne were rounded up by the Wardens after Elisande and Gul’dan’s fall? Again Maiev gives them and choice like the Eredari and Fel Totem and bish bash bosh!
Goblin - Lore 0/10. Cool factor 3/10. Not a big goblin player sorry.
Vulpera - Lore 0/10. Cool factor 5/10. Would be cool. My head cannon is that all Vulpera have aussie accents so it’d be hilarious to RP as a Vulp DH. ''How you going? You fink dats a glaive? THIS IS A GLAIVE! You are not prepared… Mate! ‘’
