Demon Hunter/ Demon Hunter friendly Guilds

So I wanted to ask about Demon Hunter Roleplay, and the Guild situation.

Now obviously Demon Hunters being Demon Hunters it CAN be a little tougher to justify them just having a wander around Stormwind/Orgrimmar (depending, of course on contexts). That said they seem a fun class and roleplay opportunity.

What I’m curious about is are there any successful Demon Hunter guilds out there on Horde or Alliance side, or- failing that, Guilds that are more accepting of DH’s? I know there’s a lot that would just outright prefer not to take them given the IC situation.

The Veiled Glaive is very good when it comes to DH RP, I believe they also rp alongside other Kaldorei communities.

Seconding the Veiled Glaive as a lovely lot, I’ve run into them IC a few times now and would happily do so again.

There’s also the Glaivewings which are a Kaldorei and worgen militant unit that accept DH’s and are also a very lovely bunch:

I think the Fel Hunt is somewhat around on the Horde, but other than that I can only think of the Alliance ones listed above.

I’m obviously biased towards my own guild (by the way thank you all so much for the love everyone <3) but I’d like to think we’re pretty good. We try to avoid just hanging about in Stormwind and we do a lot of DMed events, campaigns, and cooperation with other guilds. We’re all also super DH lore nuts who love to talk about our RP concepts and help people who are new to demon hunter rp straighten out their character and any misconceptions they might have about playing one. Our AA has already been linked by Niámh (thank u lovely) but feel free to drop me an in-game message if you wanna know anything more! I’d love to see more dedicated and quality Demon Hunter roleplayers

While they aren’t a DH guild, the Highblood Myrmidons accept DH with the reasoning of, if you’re lacking a purpose now that the Legion war is over, come home and serve Quel’Thalas instead.

think it’s mostly that DHs are totally irrelevant atm. If you build it, they will come.

There’s DK and Monk guilds around, though.

To me, BfA was a great opportunity to move Demon Hunters away from… well, Demon Hunting, and embrace their role as protectors of the planet. At the end of the day the majority joined Illidan to keep their planet safe, not necessarily to kill demons. The LEgion just happened to be the biggest threat at the time.

Both are far, far less specialized than DHs are, even the names tell you as much.

Yeah I’ve been wondering when Blizzard will remove the class all together.

I mean, I don’t see any “demons” in bfa and by the looks of shadowlands doesn’t seem to be any demons either. :slight_smile:

It’s not just blizz who could do it. Demon Hunters don’t need to keep going after demons just because of the name. They could find something else to do. Joining the A/H is one, I am just surprised Demon Hunter guilds didn’t pop up to focus on the threats BFA presented.

Nazjatar for instance was a pretty big opportunity for Night Elf roleplayers.

I’ve built it. as have other people as mentioned! it’s not all doom and gloom for demon hunter rpers and it’s a shame to see it talked about as such.

I can only recommend the Veiled Glaive due to the amazing time I’ve had being around them! They’re amazing to do things with, be it content or RP!

Ohai.

We’re about, just on a very down-low aspect and doing our own things right now. The gang’s still together, just more on Discord than in-game.
