I was just thinking how cool it could be that Demon hunter had 3rd spec as a dark ranger of some sort and stead of arrow it throw huge spikes on enemies
man I would cry to see something like that in game

A big slow acrobatic combo hard hitting Two-Handed style, inspired by Aatrox in League of Legend, with a Fel lord Metamorph.
Or a revamped iterration of the old Metamorph demonology caster spec to really officialise the fact they stoled the demon form from the warlocks.
How about healer spec? Healing glaives, healing beam, And metamorphosis transfers all dmg you deal while in it evenly to group as healing.

I wouldn’t want another spec because they have enough trouble balancing all the class/spec combinations they’ve got already, but I do think a healer spec would be fun.
Other ideas for a healer spec are ‘empowering’ allies with fel energy to give them crazy amounts of leech for a few seconds and a ability where you can sacrifice a party member to save another (say sacrifice a dps, or even yourself if you have a CR class in the party, to save the tank).
Don’t want to get stuck like paladins anymore than we already are…

It was just a convoluted reference to how retribution paladin suffers from both lack of role and spot in comparison to Holy and Prot. If DH were to get a heal spec I’m pretty sure Havoc would suffer like retribution does now (and has done).
I don’t think there’s any reason to add a 3rd role to DH when we barely fill 1 role.

2h dps spec would be cool.
If not another spec then they should atleast allow demon hunters to patch up their wings with tailoring skill or something. I do not like having theese small holes in my wings.
there are glyphs for that - so ask for more of those 
If you look up Ace Hunter Kreen from Hearthstone- that is how I’d imagine the third spec to look.
- There hasn’t been a ranged spec in years. Every new damage dealer that has been added has been mele: monk, dk, dh and on top of that they made a ranged spec (survival) into a mele. Make ranged great again!
- It would be cool to have another class that drops bows- hunters would appreciate having a fellow class to trade with.
- Metamorphosis gives you empowered abilities that use fel instead of arrows with visual effects similar to fel barrage and fel lance.

The idea is very appealing for sure. Don’t think Blizzard is capable of pulling off such a feat though.
