Yep, It’s 2 buttons (builder/spender) and then 3 cd’s buttons.
Only spender actually, don’t forget you can get passive fury generation by removing Demon’s bite!

Well, now the Demon Hunters purpose is to protect the world.
They won’t go unemployed until we achieve world peace.
I do support calling them “Foe Hunters”, though.
the Legion isn’t gone it’s just rather disorganised. The members still exist - we just killed the leadership.
When Arthas ‘died’ the Scourge still existed and in Cata we saw some quests where some splintered off.

The Legion was my DH’s purpose because they killed his family. Now Sylvanas and the Horde is his purpose because they killed his people, and destroyed his home.

Well Sargeras has been imprisoned so there’s the possibility of some sort of story with him in the future. hey, it took longer to deal with Deathwing than N’Zoth and he corrupted Deathwing.
So much potential wasted. I’d have loved an Argus expansion. It would probably have been good for Blizzard too, by stretching out the Burning Legion story.
Azshara could also have been an expansion and the Black Empire.
I do wonder what they have after Shadowlands.

I’m willing to bet on a timeskip, some time shenanigan’s with SL time moving different than reality etc etc, we come back to a new world with new threats n stuff.

1: There are still plenty of demons around for us to hunt and kill.
2: My demon hunter is in it for the power.
After the legion took everything from him he will take everything from them.
3: The horde recently destroyed tedrassil, conquered ashenvale and darkshore.
There are too many horde still alive for this demon hunters taste.
To be a demon hunter is to do whatever it take to protect the things you care for.
The legion isnt the only threat out there.
Just the one we specialize in hunting.
Void lords, old gods, horde, the burning legion the scourge.

Since Paladins are crap and cant do it we need to forget about the light trash and get the fel / demonic.
Nelf Demon Hunters became Demon Hunters in the first place to protect their people from the Legion. The Legion may be gone, but, as Teldrassil showed pretty clearly, there are still major threats to the Kal’dorei.
Belf DHs became what they are basically because Kael told them to, but I’m sure they can also find other things to do - Maybe start an herb garden.
