What do I need to get skull of manari on my destruction? I heard you can get the different artifacts on your character regardless of what spec you are. But I can only see destruction and affliction artifacts in my appearance. I have unlocked skull of manari, but it’s not there. Do I need a dagger to use that transmog? If yes that sucks
To use Demo artifact mogs as Aff or Destro, you’ll need a 1h-OH setup.
The skull itself is found in the Off-hand section in the transmog UI, the dagger is found in the Dagger section.
You can transmog the Skull as long as you have an off-hand, but the dagger requires you to have a dagger equipped (possibly works with wands too, I heard some rumours that wands can be transmogged to daggers now, but I haven’t checked this myself).
Yeah you have to have the matching weapon set-up equipped ATM in order to use the appearance. I know they changed something to do with wands along you to transmog them so I’m hoping something similar is done to allow all artifacts to be used regardless of weapon type equipped.
I dont really understand why they dont allow you to use all artifacts everytime. No one looks at your transmog and uses it to assume what spec etc you are playing. Lolz T5 warlock, there is no way he does any dmg, better dont invite him…
Now its even possible to transmog legendaries, having the artifact bound to your spec or to the right weapon typ seems a bit odd. Also having these to options together does not make sense, keep it to the spec only or allow all onehanded weapons to transmog it.
Changing transmog just because you found a sword instead of a dagger just feels bad =(
They should allow to transmog it over a staff. Because we don’t use our weapons it is just a style decision
I can only imagine 1 problem here.
Frost DKs would be able to mog 2x Apocolypse (2handed swords) Over their 1handers… which kinda Ruins Warriors unique ability.

you can see the 10000 Problems that would happen if they let u just throw all ur artifacts over any weapon? the reason u can do this for ur specc is because ur Specc is tied to the same weapons u’d usually use anyway.
Just for caster not for melee, they use there weapons
well yeah but how quickly you think “Ranged bias” Will be screeched upon that :P.
to segregate this Like that would likely take a good amount of time to develope and get working properly tbh
