I can’t for the life of me figure if versatillity increases my demons damage
It doesnt show in the logs at all, anyone know?
It increases damage of your demons. For example, my char has 60 points of versatility and damage of my Shivarra’s lash of pain ability is 4693, then i put an alchemy trinket that gives me 276 versatility and damage of lash of pain changes to 4844.
And bare in mind, that when you change your items and stats, tooltips require about 10 seconds to recalculate the values of your stats and display proper damage numbers
It increases the damage of pretty much everything. I think it also increases proc damage of essences and trinkets etc.

Gonna stacc mastery & versatillity due to my corruptions, but if didnt affect my demons i wouldn’t see much purpose
It does but don’t stack it unless you’re pvping. Haste is the best stat for demo.
No it isn’t. There is no best stat, they are all good. There is no reason to ever stack a particular stat. You need to keep using a top gear sim, as opposed to checking your stat weights. There are a lot more variables to consider now, with corruption.

even with corruption and everything haste is still the best stat for demo up to a certain point. when you start gearing up until you get your bis azerite etc you stack haste.
You don’t, though. Even with just 3x BI and no EP, haste quickly becomes irrelevant in favour of other stats. They are all pretty well balanced for demo.
Haste is definitely more important for AOE and M+, though.
you want haste for more refunds, for bigger tyrants, for more demon fire casts. there’s a reason why everybody is stacking haste and expedient like no tomorrow.

That reason is if they are running Infinite Stars. More haste = faster stacking. The only other real reason I see for using expedient etc is a lack of any other corruptions being really good for demo. It doesn’t have as high a proc chance for anything in comparison to other specs.
well expedient is good cause it gives you a chance for more ss refunds. i can’t wait to get rid of infinite stars but atm i have nothing else to use my corruption resistance on. i’d love expedient/masterful/gushing wound pieces tbh but they refuse to drop for me.
But im stacking the haste implosion trait x3, bassicly around 44% passive haste so its pretty bad to stack haste then, no?

If you have 3x EP, crit and vers start to get really good, that’s all the haste you’ll really need. It’s probably not worth focusing on stacking just one of them though, TBH.
even with 3xep you’re prob good BUUUUUUUT i feel like that’s not enough for me. i always try and get as much haste as possible so i can get a lot of soul shard refunds for big tyrants but idk that’s what feels good to me.
Haste doesn’t affect that. You’ll always be doing the same rotation going into a tyrant anyway.
Having massive haste just makes it more difficult to pop the tyrant without cutting off any imps, as you’ll have to pause even after using 1 GCD. There is a sweet spot with haste where you can cast 1 GCD then just cast the tyrant straight after without missing that last imp or 2.
Yeah thats what i thought, something among those lines atleast, decided to get mainly mast & vers since i like to be tanky af & passive dmg increase always good
